Paris Air Show 2019 - Thunders in Europe

The Rafale is a beast, clearly no doubt about that....

Rafale is an awesome bird but why by seeing this display video I have a feeling that French pilot is not giving its best. Especially sustained turns. It just rolling n rolling. Very little sustained manovers.

Engine struggles to make a vertical climb

As soon as they lift the nose after take off they need to turn to avoid stall

Hope this problem is solved on block 3
Are you in your senses? Here's a normal take off if you have never watched any.

Btw if you have watched 23rd March display,JF-17 exits the venue by pulling vertically and pumping flares.I cant understand why would you give such a lame statement. An aircraft can pull high Gs but cant execute a normal takeoff ..what nonsense.

.
You have to understand that that there are a lot of members here who criticize everything because it gives them a sense of importance.
I don't believe that the members who are criticizing the paint job are doing it to feel important. I too feel we could have a much better paint job than this one. It's not that bad but it's not something I would think outstanding! Criticism comes out from the knowledge that our paint shop boys can do far better. Compare it to some of the Western and Turkish liveries and you can see a definite difference. We all just want our pride to look, as the PAF motto states... Second to None!

You obviously have no idea what a vertical climb is in aviation terms

. .
Aziz is correct.

Look closely and you will understand that the climb is in two axis not one.
The pilot turns during the climb, thus giving an illusion of vertical climb.

The plane never goes perpendicular to horizon.

So what it means ......
Climb to regain power ?

Hi,

I believe that you are mixing it---.

This vertical climb is immediate after take off and wheels down till about the max climb ceiling is reached and then pulling the wheels in---and there is nothing wrong with this climb or the power of the aircraft's engine in this case---.

The other vertical climb is the plane takes off from the run way---pulls its wheels in---stays parallel to the runway in low flight for a while to build up speed and then suddenly zooms up for a vertical climb---. This climb is to show off and makes the crowd happy---.

.
-ve G performance is sub-par, needs to further push its flight envelope further in next iterations to stay relevant for airshows in the next decade.

Let's divide your statement into this :

As soon as they lift the nose after take off they need to turn to avoid stall

and this

Engine struggles to make a vertical climb

I gave reply of both.Read my message again.

Also as per my understanding if you take a turn immediately after T/O it will decrease your speed not increase thus not helping with the stall.
