zabardast capitalism, where would they be without the investor funding ? :big_boss:

and ability has no connection to "each according to his need"... that concerns things like food, not resources needed to say, realize an invention.
design an iphone type or code an OS which the market decides is successful and you're probably not going to be too bothered with where your next meal comes from, you might even employ thousands one day.. won't be possible with an 'equal partnership' in a 'socialist' model like an initial startup, will it ? o_O

time to embrace capitalism, jamahir saab .. pro binnuss vote karo, and do with your wealth what you will, buy a yacht or 100million $ ad campaign for didi ...your choice :enjoy:

the idea is to get initial investment, and then to realize political goals... power and influence is more important than money... :)

two people started the qnx company ( canada )... and the qnx neutrino operating system is the best os, presently... and the core qnx employees are about one thousand... computer design companies don't need thousands... :)

all these years, that should have been true... in reality, making a living became the life... :)

Taking an extremely atomic/simplistic view

  • Making a Living could be as simple as learning a trade - e.g. Accounting, engineering, programming, plumbing, auto repair etc

  • How to Live -
  1. Freedom of expression
  2. Freedom of choice
  3. Equality of opportunity of people before law
  4. etc etc
  5. Summary : Follow common sense current/modern laws

very precise and simple explanation... all points very good... i will use your post in my writings...

and in a future communist society where money has been abolished, everyone learning a general skill ( like agriculture ) will be beneficial to society.

Can't go back to barter system :-)

@Communism - In it's most recent forms across various countries it has failed. Anyways, that's a separate topic.

barter system was never in my mind... but you are correct about off-topic.

Sorry probably mis understood.

My thought was ,If currency is the representation of money, and if money & hence currency goes away, barter is somewhere we will have to head to.

this crime of "honor killing" is a very south asian crime... but fool south asians prefer doing jobs and going to colleges rather than launch a revolution to remove this crime and other crimes/injustices from their midst... they prefer having militaries to fight each other rather than cleanse themselves.

therefore it is best for other nations to disband south asian governments and militaries... enough of this parent/family/buzurg culture of south asia.

as one great man said in 2011... ila al amam... onward...

@DRAY @levina @Donatello @noksss
Not just south asia but also middle east.
you have answered your own post... i explain...

i am quite the tharki myself... i flirt whenever i can... i am a dil-phekh type.. :) real tharki males are not hateful about ladies, because they like ladies... such males are jolly and thinking people knowing what independence and justice means... they know their nature-given rights and responsibilities, and they expect those from their fellow males too.

but the males who do honor-killing and harass ladies about "dress" actually don't like ladies... in fact, they cannot do anything good for fellow males too... when has a tableeghi or hinduvadi ever created a employees union or become leader in a revolutionary movement...

and these non-revolutionary non-thinking males non-gentlemen inherit their anti-female attitude from their mothers... observe the mother of any misogynist male around you... his mother will be cruel about other females... commenting on dress, the way they laugh, their male companions etc... such mothers are always in moralistic mode and have petty minds... and that becomes the grain of their sons... another reason why anti-female males are not real men, because they are by emotions, female... we of course must speak of gay attitudes in south asia... varying the exact region of south asia, the names of that is baccha-baazi or launda-baazi... what do you think will be the attitude to female of such males?? their mind is weak.

and this inferior brain makes such males create slave societies, eating the bread crumbs thrown by exploiting nations like usa and britain... neither india can live without usa support nor can saudia nor can taliban nor can rss... because the majority males are neither real tharki nor are they disciplined.

russia is the technically the most powerful nation because it has disciplined males... men... real men... in 2017 will be hundreth anniverary of the bolshevik revolution, whose fruits we all eat.

south asia, mostly does not have real men... therefore south asian governments are slaves... of usa... and to answer your point finally, i again ask why does south asia need more males when most males here presently neither fit in the company of ladies nor in the company of real men... a revolution is needed... i am already part of a movement...

what say you, @levina @Razia Sultana
I wont pull such sweeping statements about south asians.I know good men around just that there're a few rotten apples too among 'em.In the eastern part of India incidents of eve teasing and violence against women 're much lower.
But I agree that a mother who despises females is more likely to 've a son who would also look down upon the gals around him and ill treat 'em.
Jamahir you're not a Libyan? I'm shocked!!!

.
though death was a sad affair, but do you think what girl did was right. parents have everyright to decide and participate in their offspring future. afterall they are caring for that kid for more than 20-25 years. it's not easy to let go that.
one other argument can be if they really love her, they shoud have agreed to her decision, but its not so simple, its more like agreeing with someone who 1st committed the murder.

and for few honor is more than their life. this is not first instance, history is full of such tales. Even when during partition days many families killed their female member because they feared once Muslim caught them they will forcibly marry or rape or keep them as sex slave. If we go a bit back we can find numerous other examples in history.

though i am against such step, it was just inter cast marriage and parents took very extreme step. But at the same time , i find girl too faulty. What was the need of running away,. every parent have a dream to marry their son daughter in the most grandest way tgey can... why deprive them of what little we can give them against what they gave us. can that ever be repaid by the children to their parents.
The question is why did the gal 've to elope with this guy in the first place??
The obvious reason was because her parents did want her to marry the guy of her choice.
I do agree that there 're many incidents where the gals 're duped by guys under the pretense of a marriage.
In such cases the gal's family could 've met the guys family and tried to probe more about the guy.
But killimg the gal was an extreme step.where had she gone wrong?? even animals get the right to choose their partner, nature has hard wired our brains that way.so why is that the females 're denied this basic right?
and is family honor really more important than your child?? It is merely a false honor.IMO!!

well, i thought we had cleared that issue many posts ago...

Not just south asia but also middle east.

correct... even gaza ( palestine ) "has honor killing" now, courtesy hamas... the same gaza where once were the socialistic plo fighters.

i don't want to go off-topic or cause people to become angry but i will go into history for a moment... one of the earliest enemies of hazrat muhammad was a lady named hind bint utbah, wife of a prominent citizen of mecca... of course, she later adopted islam... but as you know, "hind" in arabi language means india... and pre-islam arabian peninsula had evil traditions like female infanticide... i believe, they borrowed some of these traditions from south asia... i include iran too in south asia.

In the eastern part of India incidents of eve teasing and violence against women 're much lower.

agreement... even though i have never been to the eastern part, i know of the culture and i have known people from there... good culture, generally... especially bengal... but orissa has had at least one high-profile incident of anti-female crime committed by the "aam admi".

Frankly I'm not sure if it was middle east which influenced south asia or vice versa.
Syrveys show that honor killings accelerated significantly in a 20 year period between 1989 and 2009.This may mean that honor killings are genuinely escalating perhaps as a function of jihadist extremism and Islamic fundamentalism....or that honor killings are being more accurately reported and prosecuted.
And it is not a south asian phenomenon!!
countries where they take place are as diverse as Brazil and India, Pakistan and Albania. However they occur with the greatest frequency in the Middle East and South Asia and only sparingly in South America and Central Asia ,also among some immigrant populations in Europe.

i agree... those seem to be more liberal than rest of india. :-)

well, one thing happened in 1989... the irani mullah, khomenei, issued death "fatwa" against salman rushdie, even though khomenei is a fake himself... and since then, south asia has seen more wrong attitudes in muslims... even the west asian nations were revolted by the mullahs of khomenei, which is why iraq fought such a long war with iran.

and your other date, 2009... three days ago, ravi nair said that in kerala, it was around 2009 that he saw muslim ladies changing their dressing... i mean, adopting the burqa or full-dupatta-over-head.

i myself have seen my family females changing dress style in the last twenty years.

but sincerely, the cases of "honor killing" that used to occur among non-muslims in india got a boost when they looked at "muslims" begin wearing burqa and kurta-pyjama-beard... the non-muslims got encouragement from this and continued their practices even more.

it is only in the last ten years that "honor killing" as a term has become called a crime... otherwise, south asia has typically the attitude of "parents are next to god".

countries where they take place are as diverse as Brazil

you are right... the south american countries had influence of catholic culture ( which is quite moralistic )... but the bolivarian socialist revolution of hugo chavez is changing south america.

also among some immigrant populations in Europe.

true... but mostly i would say, among the south asian migrants in britain.
