If a Major can arrest a sitting PM, a grade 20 officer can arrest him.

This is the beauty of it all .. a sitting and powerful PM will be interrogated! In democracies, a normal police investigation officer can question a PM too ... and that's how it should be. It's nothing unusual for police officers to visit the PM and take his statement, and here we have a probe of the PM himself.

AB bs is lea zada ajeeb laga coze PMLN made it look like they have won. SC would not have done much more. As i said, the best thing could have been a suspension note along with this verdict but to be honest, it would have served NOTHING. Think about it. Me thinks the Court may have played a Machiavellian stroke here. By publishing the judgement which in NO way lets the PM off the hook, even quoted Mario Puzo's Godfather!!

My opinion is the court is going to do "mitti pleet" part 2. First the mitti was 'pleet' in the media now it's the turn of the Judges to destroy his tubbars reputation even further. Rana sana'ullu is just a heinous toff who said this is pajama leak last year when it surfaced shrugging it off as nothing. a year later it has destroyed the tabbar globally.

I want to know what MI and ISI will submit! This is more interesting than other civilian FIA, NAB etc in this JIT.

The findings of the JIT will go back to the SC infront of a new bench (which will not comprise the 2 judges who called for disqualification). What will prevent the new bench from rejecting the JIT report and declaring Sharif as shareef?

In my humble opinion, the biggest culprit in Pakistan's destruction is not these corrupt politicians or power hungry generals, but the ball-less judges who legitimized every illegal activity under the sun.

What will prevent the new bench from rejecting the JIT report and declaring Sharif as shareef?

In my humble opinion, the biggest culprit in Pakistan's destruction is not these corrupt politicians or power hungry generals, but the ball-less judges who legitimized every illegal activity under the sun.

Things are not that rosy but there are no quick fixes either. Army and Judiciary need not overstep their marks for quick fixes as quick fixes are just that ... not permanent solutions.

Yes, Qazi is where the buck stops but our judicial system is self-correcting as well. Whatever one's opinion might be about the independent judiciary movement, but that was when the judiciary had shed baby teeth and permanent teeth start coming out. Now those teeth are able to bite on harder stuff.

Same thing with the establishment. Mistakes of past have been learnt from, and repeat (for quick fixes) is being avoided.

It takes time. Say the first Kalima in two breaths each time and repeatedly to regulate and calm yourself and then think things through.

TBH, it seems like we as a nation are finally maturing (& that is a very slow process in humans anyways) ...

PTI need to keep the pressure on. They tried to release it with yesterdays celebrations but cat is out of the bag. However we know that a vast majority of our people are not that educated. They will be disappointed as they wont be able to see what actually happened there. Constant pressure by PTI and other petioners will keep the issue in limelight and people wil understand that this is just the start not the end.

No no my friend, its not rosy at all, it is just not that gloomy either. The case is open. 2 of the 5 people hearing the case are convinced that PM must be shown the door, other 3 are suspicious and need further probe. That is how i will explain the situation for now.

As for what will stop ANYONE from messing it all up totally, YOU! WE the people are a force and with the second largest political party with all its supporters on board, it wont be something that can easily be brushed aside.

JIT will have specific points to work on and they are to report fortnighlty. Do not think that IK or PTI or all that media force and even this public will let this matter die ao easily. Yesterdays celebrations were an attempt to do just that, to kill the hopes and to kill the matter, all sensible and educated people, even PMLN supportrs have seen it now. It is upto political parties to make the masses understand what have happened and they will do exactly that.

In my opinion, political parties should start pushing EC for disqualifucation and keep pressing.
