Basic gist. UAE sends aid in part to help against Corona. Aid lands in Israel, so palestinians reject it because the plane landed in Israel.


Palestinians decline 14 tonnes of medical supplies, claim they refuse to constitute a bridge for Arab countries seeking to have normalized ties with Israel

The PA rejected the shipment, which included 14 tonnes of medical aid for coping with coronavirus, just as it arrived on Tuesday, according to the report as cited by the Andalou Agency.

“The UAE authorities did not coordinate with the State of Palestine before sending the aid,” government sources told Maan. “Palestinians refuse to be a bridge [for Arab countries] seeking to have normalized ties with Israel.”
An Israeli official said the flight, which belongs to the UAE's flag-carrier Etihad Airways, would be delivering humanitarian aid provided by the UAE to the Palestinians through the World Food Program, and that the cargo flight was coordinated with the Israeli government. The official spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the subject.
This marked the first known direct commercial flight between the UAE and Israel, which have no official diplomatic relations.

However, it is an initial open moment of cooperation between the countries after years of rumored back-channel discussions between them over the mutual enmity of Iran.
According to a statement from the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, the UN-coordinated a 14-tonne shipment of "urgent medical supplies" from the UAE to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the Palestinian territories.
"The aid includes personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical equipment. Most notably, it includes 10 ventilators that are acutely needed," the statement read.

The Palestinians are the most illogical, self-defeating group on the planet. No other group would exist as refugees, surviving on charity for 70 years.They have always had many options, integrate into a nearby Arab nation, emigrate to a host of nations that would take them, or make a peace deal with Israel and start building real economic and demographic power either in a single nation, Israel, or in the West Bank. They have done nothing to help themselves for 70 years. In the dictionary under the word "loser" you will find: e.g., "Palestinians".

Let us imagine that Japan bombed the hell out of this rogue nation in World War 2 and went on to occupy the entire states leaving behind only a small territory held by some resistance group. Should they give up and leave? Should they integrate into Canada? Should they accept a "peace plan" which kills 70% of what they have? Should they co-operate with people who would've likely came in, bombed their schools, houses, derogated their churches, replaced their language, and opened fire on their people.

Therein probably lies an answer, assuming you have a sense of self respect or patriotism. If you don't, then every form of benefit is free game for you regardless of how you achieve it and on whose expense it is; you would probably bend over backwards for it. Palestinians won't.

Should they give up and leave? Should they integrate into Canada? Should they accept a "peace plan" which kills 70% of what they have? Should they co-operate with people who would've likely came in, bombed their schools, houses, derogated their churches, replaced their language, and opened fire on their people.

Therein probably lies an answer, assuming you have a sense of self respect or patriotism. If you don't, then every form of benefit is free game for you regardless of how you achieve it and on whose expense it is; you would probably bend over backwards for it. Palestinians won't.

Basically trouble everywhere. So unless they're willing to calm down and consider peace, they can keep on being stateless. They seem to like war more than living a normal life.

You can call them wrong when you're ready to give up half of Kashmir, or when Russia is ready to give up Crimea, or when China is ready to give up Taiwan, or when... you get the point.

It was their land, someone snatched it, and the only peace plan they were offered is occupation, bullets and humiliation. There is no going back.
