Palestinians mourn death of a Bangladeshi war hero

It was Pakistan Airforce

He was a Pakistani pilot

Trained by Pakistan

Bangladesh did not even exist

I doubt Bangladesh Airforce could even train pilots to that standard

PAF is not one man, it is a whole ecosystem. He was part of a celebrated organization which was renowned throughout the world.

Bangladeshis can honor him as a racial Bengali who later joined BD AF, but you cannot take the honor of PAF away from him or us.

The PAF he served does not even exist so no one can take anything away.

Neither did present day Pakistan.

Present day PAF can have full ownership of all Living Eagles/Top Guns they have produced post 1971 and give zero credit to BD.

PAF never changed just because traitors in the East broke away

If Alaska breaks away from the U.S does the U.S.A.F cease to exist?

Traitors are those who launch trained troops on unarmed civilans causing seperation.

No Op Searchlight = No war = No seperation

Take your complaints to Yahya's spirit.

Alaska did not lead movement to create the US.

Revisionist history.

It is ok if it helps you sleep at night.

Pakistan of 1947 is the same Pakistan of now. Alhamdulilah we are a nation founded on Islam and not race.

I don't care much in entertaining your nonsense, so carry on alone.

Saif ul Azam was important for both Pakistan and Bangladesh, so leave it there.

.
The man was a lion, both Pakistanis and Bangladeshi celebrate him. He was our hero.
May Allah azzawajal grant him Jannatul firdous.

He shot 4 planes, I wonder what plane he was flying and which planes he shot.

And what are you guys arguing about? He was a Bangali ethnic but was a Pakistani and PAF pilot, since Pakistan and Bangladesh were one, both countries have a right to celebrate him.

To be honest , I would not celebrate him as a hero. He turned out to be traitor. That is like celebrating Matiur Rehman.

Having said that , his personal achievements can be attributed or at least given credit to the training we provided to him.

Did he ever say anything against Pakistan?

Was he an overzealous supporter of Mujib?

Brother, he was just a normal Bengali and he went with his homeland.

That land was no longer Pakistan, it is not like he had a say in it.

That pv like granddad rights to me, from what I know from my father that prayed at the same mosque at the same time as sheikh mujib is that bengalis contributed just as much to the creation of Pakistan. It wasn't a solo effort by any particular group.

Another thing that father said that during a particular ( not sure which decade ) decade west pk lacked some people certain education. There was some educated people east pk and they were recruited into paf, building paf. So may be with out these people from east pk, paf may not have run properly.

Hmm. You have a point. I think it is better to leave it at there.
