Fresh Israeli settlements and U.S. plans to move its embassy to Jerusalem dominated talks between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday, local media reported.

On the second day of his three-day visit, Abbas met Sharif at the premier’s residence in Islamabad where discussions also covered conflicts in the Middle East, the ongoing Kashmir dispute and terrorism, broadcaster Geo News said.

“I have briefed Prime Minister Sharif on the latest developments related to the Middle East crisis, including Israeli settlements and the U.S. decision to shift its embassy to Jerusalem,” Abbas, who last visited Pakistan in 2013, said at a news conference.

The new U.S. administration has signaled its intention to move its mission from Tel Aviv in a move that seems to bolster Israeli claims that Jerusalem is the capital of the country while fresh settlement construction has sparked an international outcry.

Sharif noted that peace could only be restored in the Middle East after the settlement of the Palestine-Israel dispute.

“We urge the international community to play its role in just resolution of the Palestinian issue,” he said and urged the UN Security Council to implement resolutions on the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the occupied territories.

“The establishment of a viable, independent and contagious state of Palestine with pre-1969 borders and Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital is the only guarantee for sustainable peace in the region,” he added.

The leaders later visited the newly constructed Palestinian embassy in Islamabad.

This for me a massive development which has been overshadowed with really insignificant Hafiz Saeed episode.

People have no clue what it means and the significance of this.

Here are the facts:

Trump admin very openly expressed their intentions of moving American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Which effectively means that America has endorsed the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel which is completely unacceptable to the Muslim world. THIS IS NOT A PALESTINIAN ISSUE. The immediate after effect would be that Israel will have a free hand to build its temple of Solomon under American patronage which means nothing but destruction of Al Aqsa mosque, as the temple cannot be build without destroying the mosque.

BUT, here in the heart of Islamabad (timing is VERY important), we opened the Palestinian embassy , which we build ourselves, and by doing so, openly and without and shadow of doubt , recognized Palestinian state with its capital as Jerusalem, and all this, while our passports still bear this statement "NOT VALID FOR ISRAEL".

Those who understand the internal politics of America and how much hold Zionists have there, this is nothing short of monumental spank from Pakistan to Trump administration. Proper middle finger. Message is clear, dont even go near Al Aqsa mosque, or else............


One more thing I just randomly found this clip and did a screen shot. Call it by chance really. The Palestinian embassy that WE build, got the following Quranic verse written on its wall.

Its Surah Isra (Chapter 17 verse 1)

The translation is :

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.



Lets see who change the status of Jerusalem now. Red lines have been drawn.
