This is old news, but it never got coverage because you know there is no political mileage or pawa behind it but i thought i would share it with you.

Say hello to Hassan Ali, Hassan is Pakistan's youngest technical climber having successfully completed an expedition to GREEN RUPAL PEAK (5642-M).

Here with his father, Hassan's tale is like the one of the acorn not falling far from the tree.His father is also noted as holding the record for the world's highest rescue operation on K2 in 2008.

I wish more stories like this got coverage. The dawn also published a report about young researchers as well.

Aye that he is, the boy is a real champ. But his father is a real through bread climber, he is one of a few High Altitude Mountain rescue specialist in Pakistan, here he is in action:

That would be brilliant!

Just wondering if Mr. Faiz's K2 (2001), GIV (1999) and Nangaparbat (2005) expeditions were actual climbs or not. Regardless, Faiz Ali has obviously got good climbing credentials and his passing his skills onto his little boy is nothing short of poetic, he obviously does it for the love of it. They both deserve great admiration and they have mine.
