Pakistan’s space programme: Achievable goal or impossible dream?

.
We all know which part of the government is eating up all the resources of suparco
Military
Its stupid to compare Pakistans space program and Indian space program
Both are fundamentaly different

Its similar to when idiots start to compare tejas and jf-17
Indeed, one is a relatively advanced platform with every available modern system for a light aircraft developed by a country to create an ecosystem of aerospace and test its hand in a new technology.
Second one is license production of old airframe with new avionics because the user can't afford anything better.
Maybe this can be called fantasy but I would like a common manned space program of ISRO and SUPARCO along with other Asia ( not Japan ) plus South America plus Africa plus Russia Plus China.
Fantasy

Still didn't stop the JF-17 from downing a MIG-21 and a SU-30..... where was this advanced rickshaw Tejas??? Why didn't it join the fight?

Oh yeah it was wetting its nappy much like all of the IAF.

Showed your chutia country its auqaat.

Hey man, what happened to the clockless processor? Just curious.

Hi, you quoted the wrong person, that's why I didn't receive an alert. :)

At the moment I have managed to gather a tiny team and we are taking the approach of creating a emulator / translator software ( like Bochs ) to run the processor's instructions on a Intel PC platform. The emulator / translator because we cannot afford a FPGA board.

We just need basic services like com sat etc rest is waste of money

. . . .
Time is always there, money isn't.
even with little money alot is possible lets say 100 million dollars we can get started satellites are getting smaller and cheaper to make and the market is huge startups like Rocket lab can do alot with little rockets

We really need to get on it we cant keep dragging our feet on this anymore India is way ahead of us on this and space is one the new frontiers now is the right time

We should not emulate India in this regard, elimination of poverty and uplifting of our people should be prioritized over ego and pride. India wants to spend billions of dollars on their space programmer to create the perception that they are some super power when half of their population shits in the open.
India doesn't spend on its space program and military at cost of its poor, unlike Pakistan. Such budgets are very low in terms of percentage with India and still falling every year, the reverse trend is there for Pakistan. If India shelves its space program and military build up nothing will change. India has an annual budget of $750 billions and aggressively invests on its people.

As for open defecation, India & Pakistan neither have same method of measuring it nor India has it more than 5% anymore.
Unfortunately, I don't think there will ever be peace between India and Pakistan. Indian dreams of dominating its neighbors and becoming a superpower.
India was dominator of this region since day 1 of independence. It has 65% of area, 75% of population and 85% of economy of the region alone. Not only southern Asia but entire Indian Ocean region which includes eastern africa to gulf and Southeast Asia, India is the sole real regional power. All other countries in the region are either pawns of external powers or India.

Despite this, unlike Russia & China's neighbors who keep living under fear of invasion at any time, India has been far more complacent and cooperative towards its neighbors.
It's Pakistan which is root cause of entire trouble. Since 1947, it has been actively indulging in imposing proxies and trying to punch above its weight to somehow prove itself equal to India.
It's always locked in an imaginary arms race which apparently doesn't even exist for India. Nazi Germany learnt its lesson in WW2, Pakistan went even worse after 1971.

And hence, when power differential between India and Pakistan has become large and still growing, Pakistanis have adopted a new fashion to portray India as an imperialist or fascist country like Nazi Germany.
There is a sociopolitical ideology that is forming in India that is comparable to the Nazi Germany. Only one other nation has built a society that is similar to Hitler's Germany and India dreams of becoming the next.
There is no ideological change on ground. A large portion of Indian people are being more educated and exposed to political ideologies & choosing their sides becoming more staunch. Whatever is going on inside Indian politics is the collision of Left and Right ideologies.
India is further transitioning towards an upper middle income economy from a lower middle economy in next 10-15 years. So, this transition will continue till then. Higher income levels with large population will give out a bigger economy while fruits which will be beard from India's ongoing efforts to be a technological power will push India into league of far more powerful countries.
This will obviously give rise to a temporarily nationalistic ego what West & USSR have undergone and China is going through. It will calm down in a more rational way with time.
Right now, there is Indian left which perceives nationalism as radicalism wants to restart its "peaceful" and socialist legacy for India which is responsible for India's strategic weakness against NATO, Russia & PRC.
Other side has Indian right wing riding on country's upward trajectory, using India's rise as a tool to spread nationalism and tell frustrated Indian people "How great our country is to the world."
Indian communism meanwhile is on deathbed and campaigning vigorously for the battle of its existence, not to last for more than few years. Muslims meanwhile try to afflitate themselves to Ummah rather than country. Hence, they are a problem in every country. India isn't unique in anyway.

India was ruled mere one party for 55 years. So, they had their deep state in most of bureaucracy. So, as our new party BJP being underdog is trying mould system for itself, the "institution under attack" drama will prevail from Indian left.
BJP is here to stay probably for more than 10 years neutralising entire leftist deep state.
A more balance approach will be thereafter. Congress will promote its "peace" for Nobel prize and make India's soft image whenever in power while BJP will spend this PR capital to project India as a hard power when in power.
Fortunately we are not arabs and India is not capable.
It's your unique geographical location that saves you, not our strategic limitations.
It is a nice idea but the sad reality is that Pakistan and India will have to one day fight a final war. Even in the recent months India has tried and failed miserably to humiliate and dominate Pakistan.
India struck deep inside Pak while Pakistan was just back after knocking India's door at LoC. It's similar to testing an HEU based linear implosion nukes and declare your nuclear program "equal" to India or declaring your missile program ahead of India after testing a very small array of ballistic and cruise missiles (India can make 90+ out of94 existing missile techs in world).

India maintains that it hit terrorist camp and is concerned about its already tarnishing image. Lately, western media has been projecting India as a villain printing nonsense reports on hypersonic and nuclear weapons. Now, they are creating row out of ASAT.
You think that if India really had to something, it would have stopped after small engagement?
I think the Indian people need to do some soul searching and figure out the people that they are trying to elect. To the Indian public human lives are so cheap and the average people don't realize what they are inviting when they talk about dominating Pakistan.
Why are you acting dumb? Indian people have been suffering from your jihad for last 40 years. You expect them to be patient yet?

Wait leave that alone? Why are you pretending Pakistan to be rational? You know the historical track record? Or why Pakistan was created at first place?
Pakistan is trying to pull quagmire not because it wants peace but because it can't survive a war.
Even right now during the elections its either race, religion or Pakistan the is on the minds of Indian politicians.
Indian politicians have much better things on mind what isn't discussed by Chinese cheerleaders in your echo chamber on PDF.

Totally opposite to PDF where some random ruckus news is picked from India and put there to troll to project India in a bad light while putting shining one of China to project China as a developed country, vice versa goes on Indian Forums.

Reality is always at middle path. Pakistan is an issue for India. But not in the way Pakistanis think? Indians don't get goosebumps unlike Pakistanis when western media talks about the "rivalry". Indians actually hate & despise Pakistan.

It comes from bloody history of partition to strategic advantages. If Pakistan would not have been created, India would have access to middle east, may be a civil war would have happened initially like in China, not only India's alignment but equations of world power and geostrategy would have been totally different.
The type of hatred that is spewed through the Indian media creates an environment that is not conducive to peace because media shapes public opinion in modern times.
Media is secondary and recent, perception of Pakistan in past wasn't any difference either.
"Bleeding India to thousand cuts", continuous anti India and anti Hindu propaganda on people and continuous threats of nuclear weapons is reflective of who have been war mongering for decades.

India whenever calls off nuclear bluff, threatening with its own nukes goes aggressive, Pakistan suddenly becomes a dove.

The gap of capabilities is the reason why Qureshi has been running to UNSC repeatedly and has been asking the "WORLD" (P5) to dissuade India from its "war mongering" and "play their role" in Indo Pakistani confrontation (bachao).

Any jibe or any trolling by you won't change the fact.
Im sure your mom and dad said there same thing about nuclear weapons...Don't underestimate people when you cannot afford a toilet.
Do Pakistanis have any better jibe than throwing same jokes over & over?

30 years ago India was far behind Pakistan in all development indicators. Today, it has surpassed Pakistan in most of them and will be far ahead in upcoming decade. Whatever left is not going to remain same for long.

India is far more experienced with nuclear tech, capable of producing much more material and better bombs. At same time, it can intercept the threat to some extent too. It's coventional forces and geographical size will even make it dominate without nukes.
Still didn't stop the JF-17 from downing a MIG-21 and a SU-30..... where was this advanced rickshaw Tejas??? Why didn't it join the fight?

Showed your chutia country its auqaat.
There has been more than enough evidence of utilization of F-16 rather than JFT. Second, downing of F-16 is far more likely than that of Su30 which has no evidence.

Baki time time ki baat hoti hai yaar.
This is called attrition warfare. Not full scale war, here weaker party has advantage because it can punch above its weight while stronger party has disadvantage.

We both know that where do India and Pakistan stand in aviation technology plus other sectors of R&D.
Showed your chutia country its auqaat.
That mentality is the mother of all problems of your country.

Where was this "most advanced light weight jet" Tejas the rickshaw. Why did India have to rely on Russian imports when they had the "most advanced light weight jet" which even the IAF is refusing to induct.

Munnay this is not your Indian forums where lies would fly. Go worship your 1000 gods.

. .
Meanwhile the astrophysicists dept at the karachi university is insecure about the education it's offering to its students:

The future of planetary astrophysics has always remained relatively obscure as a discipline in universities across Pakistan. And after dashing the hopes of aspiring astronauts by shutting down Karachi University’s Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), the university administration has dumped the observatory’s unique astronomical telescope in construction waste.
...
Regarding the closure of ISPA, Dr Javed explained that since Pakistan has limited scope and opportunities in the field of space and planetary astrophysics, the university decided to replace the institute with the Department of Space Science and Technology.
“Students enrolled at the new department study astronomy, astrophysics, satellite communication, airspace, atmospheric science, remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS). We decided to teach them a variety of subjects so that – upon graduation – students have the option of finding work in related fields instead of ending up unemployed,” Dr Javed concluded.

Defence is all that matters here which is why the neglect of space sciences is so surprising. India will eventually militarize space. I don't know how Pakistan will respond.

IAF never used to induct it, no matter what how much drama goes on this forum.

Obviously, rather pigs fly here. We take screenshots and quote of intelligent members like you and collect them on our forum to laugh. So that our IQ can be boosted like you.

I mean seriously, if you had nothing to argue, why did you quote me? For personal attacks and name calling? As if it did something for you except insulting yourself.
Go worship your 1000 gods.
I don't believe in God, I'm an atheist.
Not all Hindus believe in God, Hinduism is rather a group of Indian religions than one religion.
