It was reported that the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to induct female police commandos, currently being trained to fight militancy in the province. You can read the full article below:

Female commandos to join K-P police – The Express Tribune

According to the article: “Some 35 female police commandos have voluntarily offered their services to join the group and will be imparted five months of training at par with the elite force male members. After the training, female commandos will be capable of using all kinds of modern weapons.”

We commend these brave females on their courage and bravery, and at the same time, it is easy to see the nation’s shared will and desire to defeat terrorism. The terrorists have never stopped manipulating people into believing that they are fighting for a cause. They have gone as far as to use women and children to orchestrate their terrorist activities. Furthermore, they indiscriminately target people of all ages in their bid to spread fear and chaos. Unfortunately for them, they have been unable to impose their beliefs upon people. And it has been proven that majority of the people in the country reject terrorists’ ideology.

We fully support the nation of Pakistan in their ongoing efforts to eliminate militancy. We are also confident that day is not far when peace will prevail throughout the country.
