Indus News has just started it's transmission and it turned out to be a lot better than I imagined. They have hired foreign correspondence from different cites of the world and their focus of the news is also pretty wide. I thought it might turn out to be like PTV World or Dawn English or worse like Indian English News Channels, but so far it looks pretty good. They are also promoting Pakistan's tourism sector by showing different Natural and heritage sites of Pakistan in between their news transmissions.
The channel is owned by Aftab Iqbal who also started an Urdu News Channel AAP News and some other Entertainment and Kids Channels.

This is the live stream of the channel, you can look what I'm talking about by seeing their last headlines.

This is one of their foreign Correspondent from Brussels and they have many other cities covered like New York, London, Washington DC, Mumbai, etc.

No, it's owned by Aftab Iqbal who used to host Hasb e Haal and then Khabardar. He started all these comedy news shows and then decided to start his own channel.

Aftab Iqbal. He gives a very egoistic and elitist aura, the way interacts with other people, most of the time with humiliating tone. I personally don't like that guy, so I will just pass on everything affiliated with him. I remember his departure from Hasb e haal and Khabardar, how Azizi and rest of crew thought of him.

Wasn't Dawn the first English channel? They had to switch to Urdu cos no one bothered to watch it. Let's see how this channel does.

BTW the first clip is unavailable. Second one is just a guy saying Indus news Brussels.

It won't matter, government funding will keep it going. Its not about views, its about winning the information war. I am sure think tanks are heavily involved.

Looks much better and not as over the top as the current news channels.

You may probably have figured that out by now, but for the sake of others, the video is a live stream and is restricted, only to be watched on YouTube. Click on that first video to reveal the link to go to YouTube to watch it.
