There is no harm in admitting that India has done some things better -- MUCH better -- than Pakistan and is reaping the fruits. The education system, the land reforms, the grass roots democracy, fighting illiteracy, diseases and poverty, etc. are all areas where India's experience has lessons for other countries.

We don't need to be so insecure that we can't learn from India's (and others') experience. It doesn't mean India is a superpower; in fact, it is PRECISELY because India is not a superpower, and is comparable to Pakistan in many other ways, that the Indian approach is useful to study.
