I think the army prolly used some on the ground markings and not Google maps for the fencing.

If it was done, then it definitely serves a beneficial purpose likely against any infiltration attempts and surveillance against cross-border raid attempts. It's good they are actually doing their job aggressively and won't let Afghanistan harm national security.

What do you mean? Yh there is marking using Pakistan's flag but unsure what purpose it serves, is it to covertly send out a message marking their territory metaphorically?

I think this essentially acts as one in the most problematic areas - remember most of the terrain is mountainous so there's a handful of ideal routes or sections that need surveillance and monitoring.

This probably acts like a buffer zone and other areas don't have much human presence.


@PanzerKiel Is it possible if you could shed some light sir, whatever you're permitted to of course. Perhaps about the structures we are seeing, if they actually belong to us and when they were built...
