Pakistani flags at Mirwaiz Umar Farooq's rally in Srinagar

W DELHI: Pakistani flags resurfaced in Srinagar on Wednesday at a rally held by Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

Supporters of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq were seen waving Pak flags and chanting pro-Pak slogans at a rally in Srinagar's old city area.

Reacting strongly to the anti-India protests, BJP leader Hina Bhat said that her party was strictly against such acts and demanded action against Mirwaiz.

Earlier this month, Pak flags were raised at a rally held by separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Kashmir's Tral region.

During the rally, Geelani's supporters raised Pakistani flags and allegedly chanted pro-Pakistani slogans.

Pak flags were also raised at a rally held by separatist leader Masarat Alam.

Masarat Alam, infact, went on to justify the waving of Pak flags.
