Afghanistani common people are not bad at all.

Afghanistan was actually destroyed by many countries and they are responsible for the current situation. Pakistan played a major role in the Afghan destruction, Taliban (snakes) which they only facilitated a couple of years are now creating challenges in Pakistan for the past 20 years.

The clueless Pakistan establishment does know what to do and whom to blame. They used to blame RAW and USA but now it is difficult to find someone to someone blame.

We don’t live in a parallel universe but the situation would have been even more precarious had the Northern Alliance dominated Afghan government been ruling Afghanistan. Their government would have been limited to Kabul and thereabouts, and maybe some provinces at best.

Provinces bordering Pakistan would have been a wild west and absolute chaos ensued.

Moving forward, it’s a tricky situation. Let’s not blame each other. There needs to be a proper plan set out to tackle the TTP and keep the pressure up on Taliban. Military this will be a challenge, post clean up an even bigger one.

Blunders have been made in the past, but there have been successes in fighting these menaces as well (Radul Fasaad, Zar b e Azb etc).
