Pakistani and Turkish Traditions

I've read that Pakistani and Turkish traditions have alot in common. Is this true? Can somebody please elaborate. Thanks.

One day pakistani members say we are more Arab than the Arabs and want pakistan to be relocated to Arabia and next day they say that are more turkish.

You could tell us what's common between Pakistan and Turkey apart from being Muslim Majority countries ( there are another 50 Countries similar then)
