Pakistan violates Indian airspace in RS Pura
Two days after the Indo-Pak foreign ministers' meet ended in a spat, a Pakistani aircraft has violated the Indian airspace along the international border.
PPS Siddhu, Special DG (West) of Border Security Force, has confirmed to Headlines Today that the violation took place in the R S Pura sector near Jammu.
It was a trainer aircraft which violated the air space over RS Pura in Jammu on Saturday night.
It is not not clear whether it belongs to navy, army or airforce.
Pakistan has acknowledged the airspace violation.
The aircraft flew in from Nandpur in Sialkot sector and moved towards a border outpost in the RS Pura sector of Jammu.
It flew almost parallel to the international border.
The low-flying aircraft was spotted by a BSF jawan who alerted his seniors.The area where the violation took place falls under the Western Air Command.
