We should stop doing this self-flagellation and self-pity. We have leverage and it needs to be used carefully. In the face of US power, currently there is no country that can push its own agenda through unilaterally. Some give and take is needed. The Russians cannot (the US sanctions are hurting them), the Chinese cannot (US trade tariffs and hurting them) etc. etc. The list is long. As such Pakistan is not the only country which has to deal with this, however tact and deft diplomacy is needed.

Just cut the US supply routes to Afghanistan and make a gesture to Taliban and it would end of US presence in Afghanistan.

US is the only heavy lifter here. India with UK and France was trying this for a long time. It was only when US jumped in and threw us into the greylist.

They have to. KL summit sacrifice was not only damage Pak relations with Turkey and Malaysia. Summit was backed by China and Russia too.Eventually there is formation of new block in ME and South Asian region. Pakistan need to have very balanced policy. Because except Pakistan all other nations has much better economic condition and very clear foreign policies.
