Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to capitalize on potential in bilateral defence cooperation.

The understanding came at a meeting between Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain and President of Turkish Aeronautical Industry Dr. Temel Ketil, in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Rana Tanveer Hussain said the defence industrial and technical cooperation is an integral part of Pak-Turkey strategic relationship.

EXCELLENT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!..............This cooperation and work between 2 brothers NEEDS TO grow exponentially in EVERY field!

We NEED to take our relationship with Turkey to the same level as we have China. This is a severe MUST.

He is very thorough,either more parts production for Pakistans Defence Industry(like with the ANKA) or they are planning to lay the groundworks to boost your indigenous capabilities.

I totally agree. We need to have the Turkish flag in the emicons section. Here in London the young generation of Pakistanis and Turks are intermarrying quite a bit. Our bond with Turkey is that if between 2 brothers.

Turkey's upcoming role in the region dictates that we PAKISTAN lend our full support to Turkey and keep ourselves strategically aligned with it.

Our relationship with Turkey cannot be compared with our relationship with China. Both are of very different nature.
