bro of you were not here then there would be......... spreading lies.@Patriot forever
Hi,
The link shared in above tweet answers your earlier question about winter cargoes. There is indeed a clause in contract suggesting additional cargoes, on top of a calendar year volumes (24, 36 & 48 for 2022, 2023, & 2024 onward), can be imported by Pakistan at 10.2%. Which means Pakistan will not have to juggle around summer cargoes. Very interesting. It is indeed a very fine and well thought out contract.
"There is a provision in the agreement under which if Pakistan wants additional cargoes in the winter season in the current calendar year, it can import at a price of 10.20 percent of Brent."
Cheaper LNG deal signed with Qatar
Under the contract, Qatar will provide Pakistan three million tons LNG for 10 years.www.thenews.com.pk

"According to officials, Pakistan has clinched a handsome deal, which will cost less compared to agreements inked by Bangladesh and China. Qatar has struck LNG deal with Bangladesh at 10.5% of Brent whereas with China the deal has been inked at 10.2%.
LNG prices for Pakistan and China are same, but China has agreed on bulk supply, which is why it has to pay the lower price whereas Pakistan has booked a smaller quantity, which no country offers at a low price."
@Jungibaaz Although I have heard rumors of Qatar - Vitol (for Bangladesh) deal to be 10.8%, but even at 10.5% ours seems to be at a lower side. Also note in all likelihood, Qatar-Vitol is an FOB deal, so Custom Clearance Charges at Qatar (typically 5% of the Contract price), plus Transportation charges (around $0.2/mmbtu) is going to push the price even further up, for anticipated Vitol & Bangladesh contract to be signed soon (this contract will also include setting up of an Onshore LNG terminal). This deal was announced a week earlier than Pakistan's, and since it is also in South Asia, is the most comparable.
Very bad. We need experienced PMLN mafia back.
