ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Reuters) - Pakistan's Taliban plan to carry out suicide bombings during Saturday's election in a bid to undermine the poll, according to a letter from the head of the group.
The letter to the Taliban spokesman, which was obtained by Reuters, calls for attacks in several parts of the country, to disrupt "the system of infidels which is called democracy".

There is no language they understand.

The fighters have been living away from their families, infact they haven't gone back home for long years in rows. Going after their families will not force them to stop, but this will ignite the hatred even further. Moreover, their families live as a part of society and you cannot distinguish them. Another factor that would make the headlines for anti-military media to label as killing of innocent, not even collateral damage.

The best way is the go after their resources, financial and supplies. This is only possible if Durrand line is enforced and the financial suppliers are targeted.

Sometimes I wonder if they are indulging in self parody, and making fun of themselves.

The simple solution to this is to cut off the financing, if they can't buy guns and petrol to get around then we destroy it. The funding can be tracked back to India. I don't know who else is contributing to this fund. All it will take is good governance and there will be a watershed moment in the history of the region.
