Pakistan Taliban: 'Leader Mehsud Is Dead'

The thing i dont understand is that how America knows that Baitullah Mehsud is the leader of pakistan taliban is he, and how he is dead. Is this real or just a madde up story?

It is hard to understand why YOU don't understand. Do you read Pakistani newspapers? Forget what "America" knows. What does "Pakistan" know? It seems that "Pakistan" believed that Baitullah Mehsud was the leader of TTP and that "Pakistan" believes he is now dead. Have you seen any pictures of him lately? Or heard his voice?
