Pakistan switches side from America Saudi Arabia to Russia Iran, says Assad must not be toppled

.
It is not defection but it is policy of Pakistan. It is Saudis who have gone berserk and have started regional wars in Middle East.

I mean, I don't even know WHY Saudi Arabia is fighting in Yemen. Hadi is corrupt and he has no chance of ever returning to Sanaa. The people had enough of him.

this is amusing Pakistan was on Saudi side on this issue in the first place Ultron :coffee:

I think Pakistan was neutral and I would prefer it to maintain the same position. A great lesson we can learn from Sweden that remained neutral in WW-II, a much amazing feat to achieve than Pakistan remaining neutral to something happening thousands of miles away from its borders.

very interessting thing :coffee:

I'll keep it in touch..

Pakistan didn't switch any side.

Most in Pakistan believes that toppling govt is not the job of foreigners but the people of that land. Why would Pakistan or Saudia or America decide what Syrians want? Toppling govt has only proven to be destructive. Example Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.

.
I think Pakistan's stance has something to do with recent US-Russia understanding of keeping Asad for the time being.

Can you support this with a statement from our Foreign Office or any other official?

I never said they was or wasn't

this is why I said ASSUMED. this is just conjecture. my personal opinion is Pakistan is neutral.

Saudi Arabia came up with it. Saudi Arabia cannot order anyone to fight anyone. Saudi Arabia has no authority over any other country. The time of oil has gone. Wind and solar will rule this century.

Turkeye should send the refugees to the west so that west will remember in future that interfering in other country business can cause repurcussions.

Don't do the mistake of Pakistan that accepted 30 million Afghans (currently almost 8 million still in Pakistan) quietly and destroyed it's sufi culture with extreme culture because of western wars.
