Pakistan suspends visa accord with Kuwait

. .
As much as we like to believe otherwise, the Arab governments aren't stupid, especially the members that are of the older generation. The gulf governments have realized that they cannot continue on the path they currently are, which is why we're seeing them invest in other industries, in order to create strong industrial areas to offset the decline in oil money. We're also seeing them talk about VATs and alternative energy sources, in order to make sure they have a long term sustainable revenue stream.

My point is that their economies may slow down, but they will still continue to grow. Pakistan will have to (and will) outpace them, in order for Pakistan to have a stronger hand, when dealing with its middle eastern allies.

I firmly believe that the time for Pakistan to become truly independent, without the need for poisonous aid, is almost over; it will end within 3ish decades.

Honestly, we dint really have to worry about that.
They are trying to diversify, but their children are as useless as a hole in a boat.
All they are doing is creating jobs for expats, and once the oil runs out, these useless desert monkeys will all die out because they can't even tie their own shoe laces without a slave doing it for them

.
So our govt's main concern is about diplomatic passports only. Pathetic and pity.
Look at the way Philippines treat their expatriates.

. .
Pakistan and Kuwait had signed the agreement for holders of diplomatic, special and official passports in November 2013. However, the agreement came into effect in August 2014.

“Such visa regimes and agreements are meant to ease travelling of the government officials and diplomats. An agreement cannot last which is not reciprocated,” remarked Nisar.

Published in The Express Tribune, July 30th, 2016.

It has nothing to do with ordinary public the agreement was to give a green go ahead to diplomatic and official personnel to travel however those who are living abroad they are well aware with the performance of Pakistani embassies. they are sitting ducks have no role nor any contact with Pakistani over seas population

Instead of waiting for someone's else to doom, why not build our own nation?
we will not build our self brother .. its not in our attitude ...اپنے گریبان میں کویی جھانک کے نہیں دیکھتا۔ really i would say our politicians and these people should be banned to travel any where in the world our all political parties are mostly run from other countries MQM PPP and recently PMLn everybody love to live abroad using these diplomatic passports. acha hay make it difficult for them to travel isse bahanay yeh country main to rahain gay. these people has made our diplomatic passport a joke everybody is carrying one

Based upon my personal experiences, Pakistanis get the worst treatment compared to any other nationality. I try to avoid going to Kuwait as much as I can but sometimes I have to.

Kuwaiti Embassy in London refuses to grant me an entry Visa saying that UK Passport holders do not need prior Visa. However each time I go there, I am stuck for up to a couple of hours at the Airport Immigration Office because my birth place is listed as Pakistan. I have always been granted entry but only after my security clearance has been received, which I understand comes from the US!

Last time caused me additional problem. My luggage; having not been collected as I was stuck in the Arrivals lounge awaiting clearance; was considered ‘Suspicious’ and taken to a different room. I had to have the luggage re-examined thoroughly by the Customs before I could leave the airport.

Arrogance of the Kuwaitis at the airport made me wish that it would have been better if Kuwaitis had been left to rot under Saddam Hussein

Respect is earned never given.

With your economy growing above even 5% for ten years you can have a very different Pak state.

The attitude of self respect will earn you more leverage and freedom of operations than all those so called brotherly ties.

the right course of action must be protecting your national interests and focusing on building your economic strength.

Say, no thank you, to arab aid if there is any. And build your industrial and services economy for ture Freedom.

Looks like the attitude of Pak is changing towards the arabs. After saying NO in Yemen, this is good that your minister chose dignity.

Please, look at the ME bigger picture... all these GCC countries will face the dark creatures they have fed. They are coming home.

Starting with SA and KW.

These arabs are going to need your country more than you will ever need them.

What is needed is acts of dignity and national prestige.

Can anyone ever truly believe that arabs see you as eqaul?

Good job, Nisar actually showed a bit of spine.

The tide will likely turn within 30-40 years, as Pakistan gets richer and overtakes most Arab nations.
If Pakistan controls terrorism and corruption, there is no reason that Pakistan cannot surpass these racist states in a span of one decade.

Very late decision. Kuwait is doing that since long ago. No credit for ch Nisar. Where was he sleeping since last four years ? There must be some one very close to ch nisar has tasted the Kuwaiti airport.

100% correct, it's only and only corruption, making Pakistan not only poor but beggar.

Ch Nisar and Ihsan Iqbal are perhaps the only two sane Nooras. The rest including the two bros are garbage.

Kuwait has one of the most strict visa regulations in the gcc. Given the reputation of pakistani diplomatic passports (been issued to relatives of ministers illegaly) this issue has become a lot worse since the last 7-8 years. Pakistani interior ministry needs to improve the reputation.

Actually these camel jockeys think rest of the muslim world is terrorist. And they are mot peace loving people on this earth. But, world knows the reality.....Plus, they have superiority complex being a arab. A superior race. ..lolz... which i noticed so many times.
Anyway, when politicians of our country has no self respect or has no national pride then other treat us like shitzz. Govt has setup a criteria that person has to be 1. Jahil, 2.no self respect , 3 corrupt , qualify for any top post.
