Its negative aspect is its speed as it is subsonic but its payload and manouverability seems impressive as it can carry many types of weapons

It not comparable to F-16 at any sense, its a trainer LIFT and light attack jet @Yaseen1

We still need to replace F-7 and Mirage III/V from squadron 17, 18, 20, 22 and 23 need to replaced by JF-17 of other planes listed below.
We have limited options
1) Continue building JF-17 block 2 to replace F-7s from squadron 18.
2) Acquire Surplus F-16s (If USA allows it)
3) JF-17 Block 3 (Production starts from 2022)
4) Chinese J-16/J-11 (If Russia allows it)
5) Russian SU-35
6) Chinese J-20/J-31x
7) Acquiring 18 New F-16 block 60+ (If USA allows it)
8) J-10C (not sure if PAF is interested in it since JF-17 block 3 is only few years away)

we have JF17s as our light weight multi role aircraft.

We have Mirages as our main strike aircraft.

We have F16 as our main Multi role heavy weight fighter.

We really don't need another light weight aircraft. What we do need is a replacement to our Mirages as main heavy role strike aircraft.

to complete the package. Unfortunately Mirage IIIs and Vs are very old. India already has Mirage 2000s and about to acquire the Rafale.

leaves us with Russian options who will not sell to us due to Indian pressure.

lastly we have the american option of F18 hornet but they wont sell us either.

So all in all we have basically no options to replace our aging MIrages sadly.
