I remember during entire late 90s and first decade of 2000s, media was obsessed US treating India and Pakistan as one entity.
While i don't find anything "shell shocked" in the video, it looks like media atleast is now trying to blow up this theory of India caught between Russia and US which in reality could just be a myth. Atleast the foreign policy has stayed quite independent without favoring or irking Russia or US, i assume the trend will continue. & let us remember as far as defence deals are concerned, US will make more sales in India so will Russia with China and Pakistan.
That looks like one of the many idiotic Dinner time debate on TV a la our very own Arnab's.

look every country likes to prosper and keep its interest of economic means and strategic ties delicately balanced. The world today wants more of ability to do business in India with indians as we do have a giant capacity of appetite and rising middle class with young age as median.
But sadly, most folks be it media or be it politicians or be it folks seems to always measure India Pakistan and make it kind of hostile environment for every decision pertaining to visits, military purchases or decisions which are are at world level looks like choosing one against the other. People may feel bad but if present PM of India Mr Modi tries to seek attention of world to increase investments in India and push india towards becoming a dedicated manufacturing hub then nothing stops Pakistani PM Mr Sharif also to do the same.
Sadly India Russia USA or Pakistan China - this kind of rhetoric leads us to nowhere. It is in the best interest of every individual that we all rise up from this crony paranoid behavior and strive for the best for our individual nations. Dont make every opportunity a contest to measure ones d**k.
