Pakistan Says Indian Fire Kills a Soldier

[INDIAPOSITIVE]

Pakistan's foreign ministry says Indian forces have fired across the border into the Pakistan-administered portion of the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir, killing a soldier.

The ministry in a statement Friday said the Pakistani soldier was killed Thursday in the Pandu sector along the border, which divides Kashmir between Pakistan and India.

It said Pakistan has a lodged protest with India "over the unprovoked firing and mortar shelling by the India forces".

Exchanges of fire are common along Kashmir's heavily guarded Line of Control. But such incidents intensified last month when violence erupted in the region during the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. Both sides often blame each other for initiating the incidents.

Indian and Pakistan have fought two wars over control of Kashmir since gaining independence in 1947.

Why Every Time Pakistani soldier gets Killed its a story if somehow same happens on the other side of border suddenly everyone starts bashing Pakistan aint that double standards , This issue needs to be sorted out and how can 2 people sort out themselves who want to fight more No matter who starts 1st but this has to end U.N Must Enter to stop this bloody nonsense if Both Indian and Pakistan they think are the one who are victims should let UN commission decide who is the true victim why Only Pak is trying While Indian is acting as bully and not allowing UN commission to observe.
