Pakistan’s role in war on terror should not be doubted: Kayani

Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Wednesday stated that Pakistan’s role in the war against terror should not be doubted, DawnNews reported. Kayani was speaking during a meeting at GHQ where the army top brass was gathered to discuss the situation after Osama bin Laden’s killing in Abbottabad.

During the meeting, DG ISI Lieutenant General Shuja Pasha also gave a briefing regarding the security situation after the operation.

A new strategy on Pakistan’s security will also be devised in the next few days by the Corps Commanders.

It's quite incredible, that Kiyani is still in office, he should and the ISI's Pasha, should, immediately offer their resignations - but of course these two clowns are essential to the US -- What we really need is to undo this colonial army that poses, masquerades, as if it was Pakistan's army - And build a new Pakistan Army, cleansed of Islamist ideology and political ambition, the best armed and trained force in the world, dedicated to the protection of Pakistan and Pakistanis -- Neither Kiyani nor Pasha can deliver and actually it's unfair to even ask them to deliver, after all the Pakistan army was not designed to be accountable to the people of Pakistan - remember this is a army that has never won any war it has gotten Pakistan involved in and this army is the fountainhead of Islamist terrorism in Pakistan and beyond...this army needs to be "reconstructed" regardless of the price, because ultimately only this action will allow Pakistan to move forward.
