The Foreign Office (FO) on Monday called the charge d'affaires of Netherlands to record protest against the "announcement by the leader of Dutch Freedom Party and Parliamentarian Geert Wilders to hold a competition of blasphemous caricatures."

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan's Ambassador in The Hague has also been instructed "to forcefully raise the issue with the Dutch government along with Ambassadors of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states."

The Foreign Office also assured that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the discussion of the matter in the upcoming meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held in September.

Pakistan's Permanent Representatives to the United Nations in New York and Geneva have also been directed to take up the matter with the UN Secretary General and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

besides, the federal cabinet also "strongly condemned this abominable and reprehensible plan," in its maiden meeting.

Pakistan has summoned the Dutch charge d’affaires to protest about the Mohammed cartoon contest being organized by PVV leader Geert Wilders. ‘A strong protest was lodged on the announcement by the leader of the Dutch Freedom Party and parliamentarian, Geert Wilders, to hold a competition of blasphemous caricatures,’ Pakistan’s Tribune newspaper quoted the foreign affairs ministry as saying. ‘Deep concern was conveyed at this deliberate and malicious attempt to defame Islam.’ Pakistan’s ambassador in The Hague has also been urged to ‘forcefully raise the issue’ with the Dutch government along with ambassadors of OIC member states, the statement said. Wilders said in June he has already had over 200 entries for the contest. The winner will be chosen at an event in a secure part of the Dutch parliamentary complex, where PVV MPs are based, later this year, following clearance by the Dutch counter terrorism unit. Three years ago, parliament rejected Wilders’ plan to hold an exhibition of anti-Islam cartoons inside the complex, saying ‘exhibitions in parliament must focus on the role of parliament and should not offer a platform to party political statements or be controversial.

Go ahead! Do you think the Dutch care that you make fun of them? The Dutch should tell Pakistan to go stuff it.

. . .
We should boycott dutch products. Not on a government level if its diplomatically difficult for us to handle but on a personal level. If we all do it, it will have an impact.

.
They are doing wrong in Denmark, they should not make cartoon of any religion . But Pakistani are still using youtube, google and facebook, even Muhammad cartoons are daily routine for guys sitting in western countries.
This is not real issue. Nation is interested in clean water , jobs, fight against corruption, and efforts to take out country from bankruptcy .

Is it a issue drawing him or making a fun of him by depiction?

I mean can I respectfully draw him doing some prayer?
