Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif Visits Sri Lanka, to attend CHOGM
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Sri Lanka next week.
Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to leave for Colombo on Thursday November 14.
Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani will participate in the ministerial level meeting to be held in Colombo before the CHOGM that is scheduled to be held in Colombo from November 15-17.
On the sidelines of the Commonwealth meeting, the prime minister will hold bilateral meetings with other heads of states including the president of Sri Lanka on the promotion of bilateral trade.
According to Foreign Office, a meeting of Commonwealth Business Forum will also be held in Colombo. The chairman of Pakistan Board of Investment will attend the business forum.
On the sidelines of the Commonwealth summit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with other heads of states including the president of Sri Lanka on the promotion of bilateral trade.
