ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that Pakistan was passing through the worst crises of its history due to corrupt and incapable leaders.
The elite class, he alleged, has laid down the policies, from time to time, for their own vested interest and to capture maximum resources of the country. As a result, the nation had been divided into rich and poor classes, he added.
He was speaking at the joining ceremony of Niaz Muhammad Khan and Javed Khan, ex candidates of PML-N and ANP from Batgram and Tha Kot districts respectively into PTI along with his supporters.
PTIs central leaders Naeemul Haq, Sohail Kambhrial, Central deputy information secretary Faisal Javed Khan,Pervez Khattak, Zar Gul Khan, Hashim Babar, Habibur Rehman, Gul Shehzad, Bara Khan, Tahammul Shah, Muhammad Irshad Khan, Inamullah Khan were also there.
Imran Khan said PTI had come with a clear vision to put the country back on track and had come with national policies on energy, economy, devolution of power to the gross root level and health providing practical solutions to the problems.
He said that intra-party elections had made PTI a true democratic political party of the country. These elections, he hoped, will go a long way in providing a true and mature leadership to the nation.
Khan said that KP was a war torn and most affected region and inhabitants of the province needs special attention for the restoration of their socio-economic life. He promised that PTI would announce special incentives for the people the area. He welcomed the leaders for joining PTI.
Niaz Mohammed Khan and Javed Khan reposed full confidence on the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan saying that he is the only leadership in the country who could steer the country out of present crises.
