Pakistan offers US joint operation against Haqqani Network: Asif

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan has offered the United States a joint operation against the Haqqani Network.

“Islamabad has offered US authorities to visit Pakistan with details of the Haqqani Network’s safe havens in the country. If they found any activities in the targeted areas, our forces along with the US would destroy them once and for all,” Asif said in an interview with Javed Chaudhry in Express News show Kal Tak.

The foreign minister, who recently went to Washington on an official visit and met top Trump administration, went on to say that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani was also offered the same option during the meeting with army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Kabul

Referring to the US old mantra to ‘do more’ despite Pakistan’s great sacrifices on war against terrorism, Asif said: “If the US administration exerts more pressure on us, friend countries including China, Russia, Iran and Turkey will stand by our side.”

He further said: “If US foreign and defence secretary are coming to dictate us, we will refuse to accept them… and now we will do what is in the best interest of our country.”

Sarcastically or not, for god's sake don't introduce US boots to our land.

Even Americans are not that crazy to come to Pakistan.

Dude we are financial leeches. They would be crazy as hell invading Pakistan.

Lol

Jokes apart.. you can't judge a yankee, i won't discuss whether they accept or not.
But even a single news of US accepting Asif's offer will halt all upcoming investments in Pakistan, and will put all investors in doubt and will shake their confidence once again

It's typical sensationalism.

Stop giving misinformation such value

Pakistani military built the Shamsi Air Base to house US Predator drones... so the US could bomb Pakistan easily in return for $200 million per month... until Salala happened of course. Phhir fauj ko thora bohta dard huwa aur thori bohti sharam bi aye.

Negative ratings won't hide the fact what I said is true

http://www.weeklystandard.com/cia-d...-the-mission-to-kill-bin-laden/article/559107
In his first interview since commanding the mission to kill Osama bin Laden, CIA chief Leon Panetta tells TIME that U.S. officials feared that Pakistan could have undermined the operation by leaking word to its targets.

I wonder why Panetta came to that conclusion
