What's new

Pakistan offers 44 T80U's for western military aid

. . . .
transfer 44 T-80UD tanks to Ukraine in exchange of financial assistance ?

Transferring property/equipment and getting money in return. hmmmmmmm Is there another word for it? SOLD!!!!

Pakistan is literally SELLING it's military equipment to raise money for the elites to give subsidies to their sugar mills and Lahore gymkhana to buy new toys. Reminds me of a drug-addict who ends up selling household furniture and kitchen utensils instead of trying to quit drugs. Pakistan is not providing military aid, aid is given free of cost. Pakistan is making a sales pitch. Pak Army can try to twist it into fancy words but the ground reality is Pak Army is selling it's equipment because it has run out of cash. You can put lipstick on a pig but it won't make it pretty.

How long till Pakistan sells of it's Fighter jets and Naval vessels? How long till Pakistan sells off Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro? How long till Pakistan sells off it's nukes?
I was recently talking to a Christian(Anglican protestant) friend who was telling me about Urdu Bibles being printed in India by the thousands and Hindi-speaking Pastors being taught Urdu based sermons (like replacing Bhagwan with Khuda and Yeshu with Isa) The US based missionaries are seeing Pakistan's upcoming economic collapse as an opportunity for converting millions of Pakistanis to protestant Christianity. This is what it has come down to.

Yes, agreed. unnecessarily pleasing to the USA.

Within a year, Pakistan will offer an airbase to US for operations against Afghan Taliban and Iran, specially after normalization of relations between Iran-saudi Arabia.

You can mark this post, and we will talk in a year. :D

And they want cheaper oil and wheat from Russia

You'll barely see such clueless ruling class in any country in modern times, barring some Central African countries.

. . . . . .
Pakistan doesn't owe Russia shit, infact most of our history we have been adversaries. As long as we get a good deal, who cares about Russia, they are done anyways.
Besides being in our neighbourhood and steel mills, all JF17 engines come from Russia. We also bought anti-tank weapons from them and some other military equipment.

We better should be getting something worthwhile in return.

Marked.
Unit cost is said to be $3 Million for brand new. Used won't go above 1-1.5. So, may be $50-70 Million. That's not much money.

News is unverified and most likely fake.
If it originates from Russian social media, there must be some truth to it. Russians don't dare gossip in public, their president is a former Spymaster.
