Since the discussion is about Pakistan's National Anthem, I am curious why Pakistan replaced its First National Anthem that was approved by Jinnah, with the current one.
Because he migrated to India and it sits in conflict with national pride to have anthem authory belonging to forigen land. Similarly India has to drop sare jehan se acha after iqbal migrated to Pakistan. Whatever we the reason I am glad they changed because the current anthem of Pakistan sits well with modren music.
Ok, so the author of pakistan's first national anthem said to himself "Pakistan se Zinda Bhaag". Inspite of being recruited by Jinnah himself to write the national anthem..
No Sare Jahan.. was just popular song, and Iqbal died before pakistan formed. So that ain't gonna fly .... The only National Anthem modern India ever had was "Jana gana mana".
