Pakistan may study other fighter options as US asks Pakistan to make full payment for F-16 purchase

I think it's the time Pakistan should move from F-16 and get J-10 C which gives almost equal capable to F-16's

With $700 Million Pakistan can get 25 of J-10

I don't understand this if J10 gives us the capabilities of F16 and JF 17 is almost on par with J10 then why are we begging for more f16's

Compared to JF-17, the J-10 has:

- Greater payload
- Greater speed
- Higher service ceiling
- Higher thrust to weight ratio
- Higher G-limit
- More advanced weaponery
- More advanced avionics package
- AESA Radar.

Then there is no problem. Pakistan can make its own JF-17s to serve its needs. Case closed.

USA is not refusing the F-16s to Pakistan. Pakistan is welcome to buy whatever it can pay for with its own money for its *own* war. USA has made ample contributions already via the CSF.

Thanks to decisions, PAF is far more advanced than it's first adversary.
As having Pakistani roots, it's my obligation to remain happy on their decisions without pointing fingers at black holes.

Well i for one never claim that they are perfect or all there decision are right. I do however believe that they have more sense then to bash a war proved fighter aircraft. They do understand the advantages F16 brings that we normally tend to forget. Since these advantages have been debated time and time again, i do not see the need to repeat but if you have any doubts, let me know and i will be happy to update you regarding that.

And yes, as a Pakistani, it is your right to point fingers at the mistakes and try to get then corrected.

USA is not refusing the F-16s to Pakistan. Pakistan is welcome to buy whatever it can pay for with its own money for its *own* war. USA has made ample contributions already via the CSF.

Actually, Pakistan will only be allowed to buy certain types of F-16s, with certain types of avionics, and only with certain types of weapons. Given the growing Indo-US cooperation, it's going to get more difficult for Pakistan to acquire US hardware even if they are paying for it.

Aziz is contradicting himself, If F-16s can be replaced by Jf-17s , then why aren't they, afterall its an in-house production?

Or If Pakistan is so desperate for F-16s and F-16s only then why not shell out measly 700 million for them or is it PAF has only $ 270 million left in its kitty?

Isn't this begging bowl humiliating? Blowing hot and cold because another nation's tax payers refused to subsidize your purchase.

JF-17s are meant to replace Mirage and Sabres.

JF-17s will be capable enough to 'replace' F-16s once it gets more Block upgrades but till then we have to amp up our Air Force.
