Pakistan Male UAV official Specs

.
Hopefully at least two of the hardpoints will have dual racks.
It needs micro munitions like MAM-L or DS-16 and it will be able to carry many munitions on dual and quad racks.

Will it small enough to have only 2 hard points? hope for more.
I thought it said 4 on the brochure?

Dual rack two of the hardpoints with light glide munitions and single rack the other two hardpoints with heavier glide munitions. You have 6 munitions of various sizes for different missions.

I am more interested in the development process, as per publicly available info work was started on it as early as 2017. Good to see PAC and local industry collaboration for a sustainable aviation ecosystem. Now the local industry has the capability to provide customized JIGS for MALE UAV development

Another firm is working on GAS turbine engines for UAVs

Happy Pakistan Day :-D

Good optics, good munitions, and SATCOM and this thing will be a great UCAV.

Interesting, AESA for UAV? In theory you could install BVR missiles for engaging of enemy aircraft but the performance won't be as good as what can be achieved with fighter jets.

"AESA radar development is also under progress in order to achieve independency and life cycle support and later on integrate the Radar in the target platforms like JF-17, MALE UAV and other systems."
I would say think of AESA radar for ground mapping, not air to air engagements here.

We do have example of Italian PicoSAR for Falco UAVs.
I wondered, could this MALE UAV with an AESA radar act as a Mini AWACS and transfer data via link 17 to JF-17s without them having to turn on their radars?

Drone can scan and look for targets and send info for engagment to JF-17. If it gets shot down or jammed you aren't losing a asset as significant as a fighter.

Yes, that is what AWACS are for, but just thinking of a general idea for all air forces.
