It's your paper, and not a minor one. Why do you think such a prominent paper would upload a video in which the suspect is complaining about the mistreatment his mother received from the Indian diplomat?
Because the job of a paper is to report when a video is released. It's not passing judgement on it.

Good. You understand how reporting works. So it's safe to assume - and common sense - that the video is thoroughly vetted before it's uploaded as a report for viewers.

You clearly don't understand how reporting works. If a news channel in Pakistan shows Americans claiming they invading Iraq because they have proof that WMDs exist in Iraq it doesn't mean they endorse the viewpoint but they report it anyway. The video is authentic but its content is questionable. I hope this clarifies things.

You are questioning the contents of the video of the suspect KJ's interviews. So if, hypothetically speaking, the roles were switched and KJ was a Pakistani spy being held by India, how would it be authentic enough in your eyes to know that KJ is speaking the truth?
