ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and India on Saturday agreed to share information on standards and on delimitation of basmati growing areas. The agreement made in the second meeting of the Pak-India Joint Working Group on registration of Basmati rice, which concluded here today. The Pakistan delegation was headed by Azher Ali Choudhry, Joint Secretary (Exports), Ministry of Commerce and Dinesh Sharma, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce headed the Indian delegation. staff report

How do you tell which rice are better quality than others?. Do you guys know any good brands for South Asian rice?.

All this rice in western countries like tilda is pakistani...it is grown in pakistan and exported to uae and singapore where indian companies put there own labels on and make them grown in india!!
