Pakistan Himalayan Pink Salt Trend to bring Dollars in Pakistan

.
If that $300m Indian export is of OUR salt, then we will take it ourselves instead of you earning $260m from OUR salt!

Well India imports 0 salt. Pakistan imports 0 salt.

This is all thus export figure.

If any re-exporting is taking place, it would show up in OEC import figure.

.
Pakistan is in desperate need of exports but because of mismanagement and selling product cheaply to other countries like India we are suffering. I already read on Pakistani rice being exported to dubai cheaply and other brands then repack those rice and make billions in profit.

I blame Pakistan government for this. I hope the pti government increases the price for this product and also makes its own brand with made in Pakistan logo. This is the type of exports Pakistan needs and this is something we should work on.

If any country or brand want to use this as their own brand then that's fine but they should give Pakistan commission on the sales.

Exporting 6 billion worth of Himalaya pink salt as suggested by pdf members would benefit us great and on top we are the only country in the world producing it.

If this is healthy salt and good for eating, body wash etc. We could make all sort of salt brands and body washes.
Rice even I have seen. There is also kinno, and other items.

Problem is Pakistani items (other then meat) here in middle East are very cheap, due to packaging, and lack of quality check, and also due to no interest of expats or locals buying these products. Same times everyone here accepts that Pakistani products are better then any other country.

Somehow Indians and their government encourage people to buy their products, but nothing like this happens from Pakistan side. Pakistani lobby is extremely weak around the globe. Every Pakistani lives in false notion that Pakistan is the best and run Pakistan is Allah responsibility, Pakistanis and their government is exempted from this responsibility.

In the UK we have PakFoods, Freshways and many other big stores and most of their items are imported from Pakistan.

Do we ever see Pakistani Ambassador or Pakistan Export Authority visiting these stores and thanking them? Do we ever see Pakistani export exhibitions held in order to encourage Pakistanis to import from Pakistan? Or like you've mentioned a strong lobby.

I can assure you if this is done then Pakistanis will import and sell 100% Pakistani items. Again it's the Pakistani government job to make sure all products are of high quality, of first class packaging and no headache is done whilst importing.

Nobody will buy Pakistani products if they are of low quality as they won't sell. Also if their is too much hassle in importing the goods. Why would you as a business man go through all the hassle and on top end up getting a low quality item.

To make a strong Pakistani lobby you need to hire overseas Pakistanis who know all about the countries they live in. You would be amazed on what the overseas Pakistani capabilities are.

We should learn from Turkey, they opened stores in Qatar and Somalia and all their stores have Turkish products. How did they achieve this within minimum time. Their government fully supported them, they probably give them special help in importing and making it hassle free for them.

Our government would do the opposite, maybe increase the tax so it's too expensive to buy and then obviously people would buy from a different country.

we should stop exporting it raw . specially to india or indians.

o
In 1947, India had made an agreement with Pakistan and according to which, Pakistan would continue to provide salt to India regardless of peace and war, and its export will not be stopped.Similarly, India had also agreed that it will not stop Pakistan's water, but India has blocked Pakistan’s water by building dams on the rivers, which is a violation of this agreement.Recently, India imposed taxes on all the products imported from Pakistan except salt.Salt is the main requirement in India and is more expensive there as compared to Pakistan.
To teach India a lesson, We should stop exporting salt to India as the salt we get from Khewra mines is a prime requirement of India. India solely depends on Pakistan to meet its salt needs.Interestingly, India sells the same salt of Khewra mine with its own name to other countries. The Pakistani salt goes from India to Israel, where it is packed and sold in the whole world. India is earning billions by selling this salt while Pakistan only earns a few crores.India sells this salt by branding it as "Himalayan salt".
and we never open our airspace for indian until Rapistan accept our improtance.
or or or we should sell sea salt to india and export pink salt to other countries who could afford .

Wtf. Our country needs to grow a pair
Pakistan has always been a textbook case of a country of lions lead by sheep. Just look at the weak and feminine way the state treated PTM and let it become a real problem. Just look at how much slack is given to Nawaz and Zardari and how much of thier shit is tolerated at a time the country is begging for billions from external sources. Our last self respecting leader was Zia and the liberal/traitor lobby in the media has made it so that even uttering a positive word about him is considered a crime.

I don't know much about General Zia ul Haq but i loved the video of him on Pakistan signing the NPT. It seems like even though he must have made mistakes but still he seems like a real leader who knows how to defend his country and people. The donuts we today have as leaders would betray our people without blinking.

Zia ul Haq "Freedom has no price"
Zia ul Haq "Pakistanis are very intelligent people"

Pakistani businessmen and workers make these products. How can the Pakistani government make sure the products are high quality ? :o::o::o:

There needs to be an end of allowing companies to sell Pakistan Pink salt and Salt lamps without putting “Made in Pakistan.”

Why are Chinese and Indians selling our products and refusing to put the origin in the US?

I am really sick of this. Along with stores like Target/Walmart carrying Indian globes and maps showing half of Pakistan missing.

So indian sources? You think they will admit? That is what lying means :enjoy:

I think you are a Mod? If yes then at least try to behave like a Mod please. First link given by me is not Indian and the site is a very credible one.

Moreover, the OP has not given any source regarding actual export or import of Pink salt by Pakistan. Even that quoted Wikipedia reference was not supporting OP's claim. So give us the source of OP's claim. It is the basic duty of OP.
Leave Indian, give us the data of Pakistan ministry regarding export of pink salt to India or import from India.

By bringing in a quality check team. If any industry is making products below quality check standards then they should be fined. If any company delays or doesn't make any progress in exporting the goods after they recieve the order and payment then they should be fined or shut down.

The government needs to make a new tax authority and quality control agency for all the export industries, agriculture, cpec and any major stores. They should grant them special powers and training. This way a new reformed 21st century authority can come in being.

The old tax authority is a waste of space. It will take a long time to reform it.

In the western world if you buy just say cornflakes and they are not of good quality then you could inform the government agencies and they will take action. The quality of the items must be met to the standards set by the government
