17th December 2010, Ben arous Tunis, a Friday cold morning as usual. Mohammad bouazizi left home by saying the words to his mother "that tomorrow I will bring a gift for you".
Mohammad bouazizi who spent his all life hand to mouth, his father died in early age when he was three years old, and His mother married with his uncle after sometime of his father's death. He might have tried in govt organization for the job but everywhere he founded the offices were overwhelmed by nepotism/cronyism and favoritism.

He was earning for his living by the cart on which he used to sell fruits, by selling fruits he In short he was a poor common man from the class of have not’s. That day when he was pulling his cart loaded with fruits to the market. Two police officers blocked his way and tried to take some fruits from it, bouazizi tried to confront them, his uncle rushed toward a police station which was one mile away from the market. The chief officer sent a woman police officer to check the matter, as she arrived on the spot without knowing the real matter took out her baton and started to beat him (bouazizi) up with her baton.

This confiscation and immense humiliation in front of his friends was unbearable for the guy who was living a poor but dignified life. He went to municipal corporation office where nobody heard his complain, after few moments (which weren’t the moments for him ) when he became hopeless from the system, he set himself on fire in front of same municipal office, not because he was poor but he was humiliated. Media reported the incident, he shifted to the trauma center located nearby village where Ben Ali Tunisian PM visited him to hospital, and announced some donation for Mohammad bouazizi which later on her mother revealed that the govt just announced but didn't give any donation to them.

On 4th of January 2011 trauma center declared his death, this news spread in his small village like a wildfire which caused eruption of outrageous protest started from his hometown Sidi Bouzid, police tried to control unrest by force which added fuel to the fire; the protest started from a small village spread over in whole Tunisia. The ignorant elite of Tunisia and there "nurturants" who were indulge in power and wealth could not understand the gravity of situation, there was already a huge gap in between of elite and Common man, the whole system was non functional and failed to resolve the problem of common man, the common man was suffering everyday from this congenital system, the merit was murdered, all three states of pillars had surrendered in front of few families, Everyday a common man was seeing and experiencing the unfairness of system which was mounting up the anger, event of Mohammad bouazizi became a flash point of the situation, Ben Ali afterwards fled away to Paris with family, this event led to Tunisian revolution "which is a chaos more than a revolution" and later on media linked up Mohammad bouazizi with Arab spring, one after other country started to destabilize and the process is still on.

If we see the situation of Pakistan, it is not much differs than the situation of Tunisia, Our system is shivering and about to collapse, the 98 percent who are the major stake holder of this country have been encircled by 2 percent of corrupt elite, These Economic hitmen vandalized the economy, ruined the institutions of Pakistan and they are still working on it, the middle class of Pakistan is shrinking day by day. The proletariat "have not’s" class is increasing day by day. Every day we hear the alarm in different forms, like a woman suicides with 3 kids just because she didn't have enough food to feed them or a woman denied giving witness against goons who killed her only son even after the promise and assurance of safety by the Chief Justice. A man got justice after 60 years and he was no more to hear the news of happiness. These are few examples which depicts the current situation of our country, and it is getting worsen day by day, but these alarms are falling on deaf ears, the elite is not realizing the situation.

We don’t have any shortage of skillful and proficient peoples, the middle class of this country produced several pearls in every field, we have immense resources, but sadly still we are importing our leadership from foreign. Few families are ruling on us from half century and without shame they raised the same slogan what their forefathers raised, they have money, they throw it in the hell of so called democratic process and they make more money from it, they are running the business on the name of this democratic process, the institutions who are responsible for accountability are in there pockets, because institutions filled with nepotism/cronyism and favoritism so the chain of serving them never breaks, and every time while selection they and their beloved bureaucracy make sure that nobody should come on merit which results slow desolation of national institution.

The common man is grinding in between of gears of all state of pillars, none of them is relieving him neither he has any hope from them, he is in full of anger and any flash point or Mohammad bouazizi will turn on the switch of chaos. We are in between of terrible crisis and great opportunities, now it is on our Bureaucracy and state pillars either to start function or wait for Mohammad bouazizi.

Chill dude. Thanda pani piyo.
Stop portraying dooms day scenario. Things are not that bad as u depict.

.
Fully agree sisuation is became worst day by day because of dual justice system

.
This is the reality, the common man is the one who suffers.
If the govt can't provide for the people then there is no point living in that country.
The really smart ones have already left.

Common men hold most power in their hands. But Alas...!! Tamed by these corrupt elites and bought by deceitful politicians common men transferred their power to them..
Things would take decades to be settled down in the favour of "common man". Until he pulverizes the shackles capturing him.

.
All the arabs-springs we been triggered and controlled from out side, this is just a story,

.
So what did Bouazizi's death actually achieve for the people of Tunisia after 6 years? A similar flashpoint in Pakistan would be just that - over in a flash. Then what?
Actually its the mindset of the nation.that needs to be changed

. . .
Contrary to what article says, Middle class is expanding day by day.

those revolutions destroyed ME, you want another destroyed country? I would rather give more time to this system where we can critisize our govt, protest against whoever we want and can vent our anger on social media...

We need efficient modern economic, judiciary, Police and anti corruption system.. Rest will improve around them, we dont need revolution.

Even while I agree with some of my Pakistani friends that the Arab spring may be partially or fully controlled and funded by outside forces, still the most of the countries which fall victim to the revolt had one thing in common, an arrogant (at-least for some) dictator or a regime that have been ruling for decades without any political change. The important think that I think Pakistan can learn for this is the best option left for the public is to help in strengthening democracy in your country while demanding for more transparence about the conduct of your elite's. More autonomy for key institutions like election commission, courts etc. If implemented correctly things will get better over the period of time. :-)
