Pakistan FM Zardari links Islam and Terrorism on CNN

07:28 onwards

Short version;

Bizarre that the FM of a country that lobbied for recognition of Islamophobia should try and link Islam with terrorism.

Then later :

"Pakistan stated position is that extremism or terrorism shouldn't be associated with any religion." - Pakistan Foreign Office

Imran Khan speaks English in international forums. His speeches to the Pakistani public are always in Urdu.

Bilawal makes speeches to the Pakistani public in English because he knows many people will be impressed.

Global celebrities live a different lifestyle to ordinary people, and Imran chose to leave that lifestyle to serve Pakistan.

Bilawal is not a global celebrity. He has done nothing on his own ability to merit his current position in life. That is why he relies on lame stunts like trying to emulate his grandfather's passion in speeches, or speaking in English to impress people.

There is no middle ground for a leech who has been thrust upon this nation only because his father looted enough money from the country while people in his province don't even have clean drinking water or primary schools.
BZ's Urdu is not very good, (for that matter neither is IK's) but former's is far worse than the latter's.

In fairness, Bilawal speaks in the language he is most comfortable with and not just to show off. The same, as an example, goes for IK's son Suleman. One can hardly blame either of them for not being too eloquent in Urdu because their parents "chose" to have them educated and live in the UK.

On the issue of BZ's appointment to the office of the FM, can you remind me what type of "global celebrity" or "merit" SMQ had earned for him to be put in the office of FM? He is a politician from a feudal family like the Bhuttos/Zardaris. As I have stated before, all FM's in Pakistan are political appointees and most come with no "merit" to lead the FO which is unfortunate but also the reality.

I think people are making too much of this situation.

BILLO came on his gradfathera ticket. His mother and father came on the bhutto ticket too.
PPP is bhutto party.
NOON is shareef personal party.

There is no democracy in Pakistan. We need a revolution

Personally, I was never happy with the likes of SMQ and JTK in PTI. Old guard feudals and industrialists.

PTI is supposed to be the party of merit, of young, idealistic next generation Pakistan. If find SMQ to be bit of a camera hog, always making sure he is right behind PMIK. I don't see Asad Umer or Shireen Mazari being so desperate to be seen next to PMIK.

But anyway...

In fairness, Bilawal speaks in the language he is most comfortable with and not just to show off.

Don't you realize how sad of an excuse that is, especially for a foreign minister? Countries pick ambassadors and foreign ministers who are fluent in the relevant foreign language. Bilawal can't even be bothered to gain fluency in the single most important language for his career? After how many years?

Let's be honest. Bilawal and his PPPP handlers are not fooling anybody. Unlike PMLN, the PPPP are extremely mindful of public image. They always promote eloquent women spokespersons. In this case, they know that a person speaking in British English will be seen as educated and superior to other candidates by many Pakistanis.

The same, as an example, goes for IK's son Suleman.

When Suleiman make a national address to the people of Pakistan wanting to be their next PM, then we can compare.

@Jango @The Eagle

Is this allowed?, Karachites say the most disgusting (yes 90% of ethnic based dislike on Pdf is from karachites that's why I think it's important to name, bad habits of ganga should stay in ganga) things about Sindhis but not just limited to them either, seems to have issues with everyone...
But administration ignores it like it's a non issue

Efforts of last 4 years being undone just like that. That's why you don't put a kid to such a position.

Here is another gem

His father is Baloch.
His mothers mother was Persian and his mothers father was from Bombay presidency.

Just because they got land from British monarchy in Sindh, doesn't make them Sindhis.

They also belong to a minority sect who has historically problems with mainstream religious doctrine.
