Flags are allowed in stands reserved for PCB and I saw atleast one flag.

According to Bangalore Mirror, the flag and jersey were seized a day before the match, when the guy was standing in front of the stadium wearing Pakistani jersey and holding a Pakistani flag and asking for tickets even after the counter was closed. Imagine the rude shock for the police, because without a ticket there was no way a "Pakistani" could have gotten an Indian visa That certainly would have thrown them off-course.

But yea sezing the flag and jersey seemed a little harsh and they could have returned it after interrgoation. But this is the first match after 26/11, the police were were very strict on security. Ten days ago a ranji match was held between Karnataka and Delhi on this very ground, but it was not open for any spectator to visit. Only journalists and KSCA members were allowed access to the stadium.
