Prime Minister Imran Khan has tasked the governors to review the complaints registered through the Pakistan Citizens Portal (PCP) pertaining to provincial or federal departments operating in their respective provinces.
2. In the recent past our His Excellency has many times spoken about Citizens Portal. He recently warned stern actions against officials who did not resolve complaints received through the Portal. The print media pages have regular comments from the ordinary masses about performance of the Portal. This old man has hundred of such press cuttings. This 70 plus acute diabetic when in pain, to enjoy life read a letter from Rawalpindi based businessman and Editor Col. Riaz Jafri reading how through Citizens Portal he twice sought an honour of appointment with the PM which request of his, both times, was forwarded by the efficient vigilant Portal officials to the DG Agriculture Rawalpindi.
3. I belong from old generation of 40s & 50s having education from free municipality schools and learning keyboard through manual “Underwood” typewriter. Senior economist Dr. Hassan Askhari early this month showed in his talk show his mobile phone worth Rs. 3,000. This old man despite living abroad uses Pakistani Q-Mobile he purchased in Karachi at Rs. 1,800/- having no internet facility. I don’t know Facebook, Whatsup etc hence can’t file my complaint with the Portal through App. As such I sent about 7-8 different complaints as an Overseas Pakistani to the Portal on its official email never ever to get any response even a single one. In this old age I can’t purchase and learn smartphone operation to file a complaint say against my bank to be forwarded by the portal to the Karachi Water Board for necessary action to resolve the complaint.
