ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain who is on 7-day visit to China has said that Pakistan and China will further enhance cooperation in defence production.
He said Pakistan and China have deep rooted brotherly ties and Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with China.
Sino-Pak relations in the field of defence are also of great significance as advancements in the field of defence production owe greatly to our Chinese friends and their assistance, says a press release issued here on Monday.
Rana Tanveer Hussain will also be the chief guest at the Pakistan Day reception hosted by Pakistan Embassy Beijing and will meet people from all walks of life and highlight the recent success and strides of the Defence Production Industry.
The Minister will visit leading companies of defence industry including CSOC, CSTC, (China Shipyard), ALIT (Aircraft Industry), and SASTIND during this important tour.
The minister will be looking towards exploring future areas of joint collaboration with China on the lines of previous landmark agreements including JF-17, PNS Aslat and Al-Khalid Tanks.
