Pakistan can't play both ways, curbing terrorism and helping terror groups infiltrate into India: US Senator

Washington: Coming down hard on Pakistan, US Senator Mark Warner has slammed Islamabad for indulging in double speak on the issue of terrorism.

Pakistan can't play both ways, on one hand talking about curbing terrorism and on the other helping terror groups infiltrate into India, said Warner.

Talking tough, the Senator said one of the US General in Afghanistan, expressed concern over safe havens for terrorists in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, a report compiled by a dozen US think-tanks and universities has suggested that designating Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism is unwise in the first year of the Donald Trump administration, but should be kept as an option for the longer term.

The report advises the Trump administration to “state up front that it intends to review the intelligence on Pakistani involvement in supporting terror much more critically than its predecessors”, reports the Dawn.

The report urges the Trump administration to “avoid viewing and portraying Pakistan as an ally and to deal with it as a non-ally, which has engaged in supporting the Afghan Taliban. Advising the new administration on how to deal with Pakistan, they argue: “As a first step, the US must warn Pakistan that its status as a Major Non-Nato Ally is in serious jeopardy.

. .
Some one should shove this IDIOT's comments up his rear end. This mentally retarded, blind and vile creature cannot see the amount of terror india has been exporting into Pakistan through Afghanistan while he is complaining against the non-existent terror from Pakistan into india. Really sad and tragic :hitwall:

who is this clown? yeah, USA play the victim of terrorism but funded and helped creating the ISIS, like USA is a peace loving country but make a bullshit excuse to invade and kill Saddam?

. .
Helping india to destabilize Pakistan thru TTP and NDS so they can block China. This an old bull crap from such a ignorant who doesn't know the amount of terror pak is facing cuz of indian presence In agf.
Pak sud respond them straight farward that we supporting Taliban the majority of Afghan people who been on both sides of border u sud recognise them aswell and India have no right to keep 14 consulate there China have more investment there in so with this logic China sud have 20 consulate. We need 30 kms buffer zone by border in this regards Pak sud openly help majority afghan to have their presence in that 30 kms buffer zone.
If US wants to talk to Taliban then why can't Pakistan.

Russia, Turkey: US supporting Syria 'terrorist' groups

Turkish president lashes out at US-led forces as Russia says new Washington defence policy would empower "jihadists".

Throughout the Syrian civil war, the US has funded several Syrian rebel groups and provided them with logistical support and weapons.

Russia, on the other hand, launched a campaign of air strikes last year in support of President Bashar al-Assad and his forces to battle opposition groups, some of which are supported by the US.

I guess these senators and Indian cheer leaders live in a self delusional world where Pakistani actions amount to treason while replicating the same thing Pakistan doing in Syria considers to be an act of charity. Either USA executive branch are full of retards and mentally challenged, mediocre IQ holders that they can not see this comparison or the executive brance and Indian cheerleaders are the hypocrites of highest order

USA is the greatest terrorist country ever in the history of mankind

Pakistan is not even half as sly as it is sometimes made out to be. And this reputation is damaging Pakistan. It should project itself as the unsparingly simple guy that it is among the community of nations to win any favors.

Why don't you ask your Saudi brethren who are pushing as far as they can, to US for both ISIS and Yemeni rebels?

You cannot. That is what this senator is telling. Pakistan cannot act innocent and at the same time support terrorists in Kashmir. I find it amusing that many educated people on PDF justify that terrorism in the name of freedom. Terrorism is terrorism and terrorists are terrorists, there is no way anyone can justify this act by twisting words. Pakistan will have to come out of 'good terrorist' and 'bad terrorist' concept, either by choice or by force.

I had not read the OP. lol. But this dispute from Pakistani side is a generational issue. The older Pakistani generation think of India as some weak federation from which it can break off a chunk. But the younger generation is better aware that India is THE strongest federation in the world that binds more than a billion people of any diversity imaginable.

Wondering if you got your flags wrong, if not then you are one peculiar Pakistani poster that I haven't seen yet.

I agree that it's impossible to "break" any portion of land from India as per imaginations of some - we aren't the world's 3rd powerful country for nothing.
