Pakistani armed forces have sacrificed their lives and limbs; more than 5,000 dead and countless having lost limbs, thus becoming disabled for the rest of their lives. More than 5,000 top-of-the-line human material including generals, senior commanders, junior leaders and foot soldiers, were lost in an endless war to save the country and its system. All of them died so that those ruling this hapless country can trade their blood for their political interests. All of them died so that the scions of political elite can sit on their fat ***** making deliberations how best to milk this country for their personal ends. And do not forget more than 50,000 civilian, that callously described as collateral damage, who died for nothing except to give the savage animals, the terrorists, a position of strength, to be able to tell the State (read: coward leaders) to get out of their way so that they can regroup and strengthen themselves to spill more blood at will.
The real stakeholders to decide how to deal with the menace of terrorism are the family members of those 60,000 killed and countless injured and disabled. They are the ones to say yes to pardoning the killers or punishing them.
The reaction of corrupt politicians of all hues has this far been downright insulting for the nation. Every act of terrorism was condemned without condemning the terrorists by name. The latest incident in which the military commander of Swat and his deputy were killed in their own areas of responsibility is the most tragic by all standards. Look at the callous reaction of the polity; no one had the guts to condemn the terrorists by name. Not that the terrorists were unknown; there they were claiming that they had done it; the savage animals of TTP. But the State (read: coward politicians) did not have the courage to say that they condemn TTP for this act of violence.
Thinking majority of people wonders at time; why the soldiers are making supreme sacrifices when their status is not equivalent to even the political thugs killed by law enforcers and instantly branded as martyrs. The answer is not difficult to seek; they are trained to live and die for national cause. But they are not the mercenaries of loud-mouthed politicians who can glorify their deeds. They are a part of a voiceless fraternity. They are the naukri pesha, as dubbed by the most corrupt prime minister of Pakistan, who are being paid to die.
This nation and its scheming leaders do not deserve the soldiers dying for nothing; whose blood is just a commodity to trade for dirty political ends.

The nation does not deserve the soldiers like Maj Gen Sanaullah | Pakistan Express

A Muslim fights and dies only for Allah's sake and cause. as our motto suggests :

Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fe Sabilillah

If Allah is satisfied than nothing else matters !!!!

So 5,000 soldiers died to protect the nation, a nation who has lost 45,000 people. where is the protection part is all this?

Just A question.

This ' being paid to die' is a silly, short sighted attitude of Politicians who themselves lack the moral fiber & courage to handle situations and forever sit on the fence.

That being said, in case of PA whats stopping them from going full hog against the TTP. From what one reads, everyone seems to want this.

The fact that PA holds itself back goes against it & leads to all sorts of speculation.

Agreed 100%. However:

What happens to PA soldiers who died fighting Lal Masjid thugs when Musharraf is being tried for the murder of lal Masjid mulla? And what would you say to the Taliban lovers of Pakistan and of this forum who believe Taliban are fighting for Islam and that all Suicide bombers are greeted by 72 houris when they blow themselves up and martyr PA soldiers along the way?

Such rhetoric is good for the morale but in real life you will find that both sides invoke Allah & Islam Who goes to heaven and who to hell depends upon which side you are supporting.
What is true is that bigoted and ungrateful polity of Pakistan does not deserve the sacrifice of the brave soldiers of Pakistan Services. Majority deserve to be in Mullah Omer’s Afghanistan getting a kick up their backside each time they differ from Taliban version of Islam.

Over the period of time seminaries have indoctrinated their pupil to impose their side of Islam on others and those who do not accept, should be executed. No solution will work till the time symptoms are treated. We have to treat the root cause, along side taking short term remedial measures. We have to separate TTP from Afghan Taliban. Let Afghan Taliban do what they want to do with their country. Our responsibility should be to ensure we do not receive any infiltrators from Afghanistan, while we pound the outlaws challenging the writ of government. Simultaneously, keep a close watch on these seminaries for what they teach their people, what the purchase (weapons) and be ruthless in implementation of state rules.
