. . . .
Colonial sepoys in action to see their latest King take the throne. This will be their 11th monarch whom they've provided loyal service.

.
Can we dissolve this country already?

Aray Muhajir sahib, zara Bangladeshi visa muj ko toe diladay 🙏

Why shouldn’t the orphaned British Indian Army send some sepoys for Baray Saheb’s coronation?

Because it's an extinct Army. Indian Army and Royal British Indian Army are two different things.

Exactly

Here's the so called "Pakistan" Army's origin

>Colonial Origins
Contrary to popular belief, the Pakistan Army was not formed in 1947, but rather 1920.

How is that possible? The same reason why the Pakistan Railways was established in 1861 - we simply inherited it from our former colonial rulers. In the case of Pakistan Railways, we inherited it from the North Western State Railway.

But where did the Pakistan Army originate from? Here's a brief timeline:

>1857:
- British Raj established - "Presidency armies" formed throughout the colony.

> 1895:
- Presidency armies abolished.
- Replaced with 4 commands; the Punjab, Bengal, Bombay and Madras commands.

> 1908:
- Punjab Command and Bengal Command merged into Northern Army.
- Bombay Command and Madras Command merged into Southern Army.

> 1920:
- Northern Army and Southern Army abolished.
- Reverted back to four commands; this time as Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western commands.

> 1942:
- Northern and Western commands merged to form the North Western Army.
- This was done to better guard the frontier regions of North West Frontier and Baluchistan.

> 1945:
- North Western Army reverted to Northern Command.

> 1947:
- Northern Command renamed to Pakistan Army.

So the Pakistan Army was essentially inherited from the former colonial force present in what would become Pakistan.

Similarly, the remaining commands (Western, Eastern and Southern), in what would become the Republic of India, were inherited by the Indian Army.

This is why Frank Messervy is considered the first General of the Pakistan Army.

He was made General Officer Commander-in-Chief of the Northern Command in 1946. In 1947, when it was renamed to the Pakistan Army, he was granted the honourary rank of general until 1948.

Just about everything about the Pakistan Army can be traced back to the British period, including their obsession with land.

Many years ago I accidentally came across a research paper on the origins of the Pakistan Army, probably written as a thesis. It was an eye opener. It said the following:

1. The War of Independence in 1857 was mainly by Bengali soldiers. The soldiers from present day Pakistan were used to crush the rebellion.

2. After that experience the British stopped recruiting from disloyal areas and increased recruitment from loyal areas. The most loyal to the British were areas of present day Pakistan.

3. Indian soldiers made up the lower ranks. Officers were all British.

4. On retirement soldiers were given land.

5. Only when the British were preparing to leave did they start promoting sepoys as officers.

6. Potential Indian officers from villages were sent to London for training and to strike awe in them and brainwash them when they saw the splendor of London.

7. Ayub Khan was in one of the first batch that was sent to London.

8. The British never had more than 50,000 people in India, which included women and children, ruling over 350 million Indians. The British Indian Army kept the local population suppressed.

The British did such a good job of brainwashing these people that 75 years after they left the sepoys still worship them.

Wow. You should be promoted to general. Tell us what you'll do after Pakistan becomes blacklisted and blockaded from every single country in the world and nobody will trust Pakistanis to send army detachments anywhere.

And you're still in the USA.
Yes, he's in the US. So what?

It is a former colony of the UK turning into the new master ordering the British to obey American dominance in basically every global issue.

What are you insinuating?

The Pakistan Army contingent will be among the many military units and organizations from around the world taking part in the parade.

Notably, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also undertake a visit to the United Kingdom to attend the coronation of Briatian’s King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla on May 6.

The event is expected to witness the attendance of numerous heads of state from across the globe, including Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium, Japan, Hungary, and Australia.
please read this and tell me - why y'all are crying?
I don't understand the issue here
criticism for the sake of criticism is moronic- we send our contingents to every single friendly country (and yes UK is a friendly country with a big Pakistani diaspora) including China, Saudia, and for that matter some other random countries too
