Pakistan army Cobra gunship helicopters are the worst nightmare of enemy

. . .
What about Super Cobra and Apaches, MI-35s
Super cobra is only hellfire compatible machine and its deadly. Apache is out of Pak list. MI are part of ANF not reinforcer ...

@MastanKhan Sir due to see any alternate of this battle hardened machine ?

and what makes Mastan an authority of the topic? He is a used car salesman in the US. He has not connection with military in general and Pakistani military in particular. Please do your own research and reach your own conclusions. It is a sign of a matured mind. You have been a member since 2006 and should be grown up by now.

No it isnt. I wonder where you people make up such things?
Please learn first that the Super Cobra is the AH-1W series for the USMC.
The AH-1Z is known as the Viper, and has full compatibility with the TOW missile. The only difference is that with the introduction of the hellfire, no one wants the TOW as such.

Do you know why?

I never argue about TOW missile, Pak present Cobra inventory of single engine Cobra can not fire hellfire, only TOW. But dual engine AH-1Z or 1W Cobra has no such restrictions. Pak army Cobra only using Lockheed AH-56A Cheyenne for fire power for AAFSS.

As far as my info may be I am wrong ,Don't challenge you info. Two version of Hellfire missiles is the fact that one is laser-guided (AGM-114K) and one is radar-guided (AGM-114L). They are designed to take on armoured targets Don' t know which version of AGM Pak is getting.
TOW missile, which is short for Tube Launched, Optically Tracked, Wire-Guided. It's another missile designed for armoured targets, and you guide it by keeping the sights on the target. The missile follows the crosshair of the sights, try firing one and then moving the sights from side-to-side; watch how the missile follows your movements.

If one goes by your logic, the very existence of this forum would be pointless. All here are enthusiasts with other regular professions, except a few.

Good , the present Cobra's cannot fire the Hellfires.. but that is not why Pakistan is getting the Hellfire. It is getting it because it eliminates the wire guidance(it is a wire after all and can get tangled up). It also allows for longer range targeting due to laser guidance.

And Pakistan is getting the Hellfire-R. Which has a multimode warhead that lets it engage everything from bunkers to tanks.

.
We operate TOW-2As that are RF guided so our inventory of TOWs is not limited to initial versions of wire guided ones.

For the AH-1Zs on order, the ATGM of choice is Hellfire-R as you have stated. Nobody is buying the other versions any longer.
