Napalm and phosphorus bombs are also fall in the same cattagory but those are prohibited to use even in a battle field ,is it???

They are very similar but the new gen of Thermobaric bombs have a different affect.

The shockwave associated with TOS-1 is unbelievable, it stretches 4 to 5 times away from the impact position. that Iron wall of shock wave can damage and destroy anything in its way.

If youre close enough to a thermobaric bomb that it sucks the air out of you you have much more worrying things to worry for.
