JEDDAH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed the Hajj agreement 2014. Under the agreement 143,000 Pakistanis will perform Hajj this year.
The agreement was signed between Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yousaf and Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj Dr Bandar al-Hajjar.
Sardar Yousaf said Pakistani pilgrims will spend 40 days in Saudi Arabia and all arrangements will be made to provide maximum facilities to them. The approval for their numbers and other arrangements will be granted by the Federal Cabinet.
Sardar Yousaf added Pakistan’s Hajj policy will be formulated in light of the agreement with Saudi Arabia.
