We do not know whether India will face Pakistan in the semi-final of WC cricket, but in football team has managed to defeat Pakistan in AFC Challenge Cup 2012.

Pakistan 1-3 India

Kuala Lumpur: Two late goals saw India defeat neighbours Pakistan 3-1 on Wednesday to make it two wins out of two in their 2012 AFC Challenge Cup Group B qualifying campaign.

WAPDA Striker Arif Mehmood, top scorer in the Pakistan league in 2004, 2007 and 2008, put his side one up with 32 minutes at the MBPJ Stadium played and Pakistan held the lead until the 67th minute when Jeje Lalpekhlua levelled the match.

The game appeared heading for a draw but India were not content to settle for the point and took the lead on the stroke of full-time though Steven Dias before Lalpekhlua made sure of the win with his second and India’s third four minutes into second-half stoppage time.

India, whose 2008 AFC Challenge Cup triumph qualified them for the January’s AFC Asian Cup in Qatar, will guarantee passage to the final stage of next year’s Challenge Cup if they can avoid defeat to Turkmenistan in their final Group B match on Friday.

Our Football team sucks as we don't even have a proper team - we will see you once prepared.

Sorry to say you do not keep much information about your own team. Atleast they are trying to do something good. In your current squad there are 7-8 European players of Pakistani origin. The Indian authority should learn from their neighbour to build up a strong team and to raise the standard. What Pakistan need now, a professional league.

Oooops wasn't aware of the news. Thanks for sharing.

Indian football team is bad and Pakistani team is worse. :P India has many talents but there is no proper training or govt initiatives for football.
